Time travel I’m interested in. Especially if it opens up the possibility of reliving the human-Covenant war.
Time travel can be cool if done right, but I hope it stays outside of the Halo universe.
I really want to see the Banished in Infinite. Would be fun to fight them in an FPS. They’re familiar yet still fresh.
I want flash backs…open world with the option of linear and banshied and f2p… and also ill pay XD.
If there is something i could put in the game… HMMM. You know ive been thinking about that alot and i come to the conclusion to stop wishing and just wait and see what creativity 343 dish out… cuz in fact we end up limiting the games potential… OR… put too high of expectations… then end up never being in the game.
Wanted to play as an elite since halo 4. Wanted forgable AI since halo reach. Wanted duel weild swords since halo 3. Wanted flyable pelicans in multiplayer since halo 2.

But we have things that i never could have wished up in my imagination… Hijacking, abilities, visiting the elite homeworld in campaign…
So im not entirely hopeful, but i am curious as to how they will suprise me next.
But if i really really really had to pick… id want to pilot the banshied scarab OWO heheheh…
That even trumps my idea for a multiplayer space battle game mode.
That time travel rumor is definitely fake. 343 seems to be doing everything they can to bring the community together… introducing time travel and retconning literally the entire franchise would be the best way to completely bomb the game. The writers would have to be the most incompetent morons to do something like that in Infinite.
While there’s still mysteries about the Domain and its creators, the Precurors, I don’t see time travel ever being one of the concepts that the Halo franchise will have implemented. As for the Banished, I am still dissappointed in their performance in Halo Wars 2’s main campaign despite their thunderous introduction in the start of it and Halo Rise of Atriox but the Official Spartan Field manual implies there’s much more to them that we have yet seen. The event on May 7th is focused on 3rd Party content, Halo is 1st party so it’s unlikely. If I can add anything to Halo Infinite, I would honestly want to see the cyborg covenant themed aliens they wanted to add in Halo 5 originally, I can imagine them serving the Created as slaves.

Agreed.
The time travel is a rumour that someone made because the game is a “Spiritual Reboot”. It would be preposterous for 343i to retcon the entire story and lore from the past 20 years.

Here’s 2 quotes straight from the Official Spartan Field Manual;
“In theory, all who can aid Atriox’s ambition and will bend the knee are welcome, from human to hunter, but their violence and conditions of service limit recruitment opportunities.”
“Atriox is reported to have led a fleet of Banished to an unknown destination, but the chieftains he has organized and controlled continue to spread their influence and power throughout Brute colonies and even into human criminal enterprises.”
Both of these quotes (especially the 2nd one) imply he has fleets elsewhere and a massive sphere of influnece in areas we least expect it, even in the human criminal underworld.
