More than likely, since it should be able to read your service record and recognize that you reached max rank.
What is the reward?
My question isn’t what the reward is, just that if you go from being a Max ranked player on Halo 5 on Xbox and then play infinite on the OC would you get whatever the reward is on PC ?

maybe a special nameplate for Infinite but not armor exclusive
I’m not sure anything’s been confirmed yet but HW2 and MCC both have cross-progression so it would be safe to assume yes. Not to mention it’s impossible to get SR152 on PC because H5 isn’t on PC, it wouldn’t make sense to make it an Xbox exclusive thing.
Tempering my expectations so any recognition of a prior game accomplishment would be okay.
If I had to guess, an emblem/weapon skin.
What I would love is some kind of emblem action that might have motion to it or weapon skin that changes color, I don’t know. Or a special visor that glows, etc.

An emblem on your Halo: Infinite service record that states you were SR 152 in Halo 5, and possibly an emblem and armor would be cool.
Don’t see why not, considering play anywhere is a thing Microsoft still promotes
