Halo Infinite REQ weapons?

Should the REQ system come back in infinite?

N O

I wouldn’t mind if it did so long as changes were made to a few things.

I would prefer if the req system didn’t exist in Halo Infinite as this system has been a substitute for a lot more creative solutions when it comes to designing the Warzone gametypes. One problems that are seen with Warzone is that the player is nearly completely dependent on the reqs to get any weapons or vehicles.

No. Any rng loot system and I definitely pass on Halo Infinite.

Hell no.

I almost had a stroke reading the words, “Halo Infinite” and “req” together in the title. The Requisition System was heavily panned by players. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad concept but it was completely untraditional in Halo. The fact 343 said it “may” return shows even they’re a little reluctant about it as well.

I think I enjoyed my time with the REQ’s in Halo 5 but I am ready for them to be gone. If they do stick around they need to be in a similar mode like warzone. I could see Req’s being used in a type of battle royal mode… Not saying I want that but I can see a scenario where they are used.

I loved the diversity of weapons (though the standard issue ones could use some trimming down) just hated how cumbersome it was to access and select them.

No, the whole REQ system needs to go. Any mode that can’t be played offline, that requires online only functions needs to go. All modes should be playable online or offline. This is why Halo 5’s decision for Warzone to be online only was an awful decision from 343i, that should not happen again. As said in other threads before I want to be able to be able to play my games in 10-20+ years without being told I can’t play due to features like REQ’s/loot box’s.

If the REQ system can be build into game types that don’t force online only then I think I can tolerate it to a degree.

No would be the most sufficient word to describe this situation

The Req system is a NO. Though I would like to see some of the Req weapon variants return.

It’s absolutely a bad concept. They locked all cosmetics (and, in the case of Warzone, things like weapons and vehicles) behind random chance, made the amount of items absurdly high to make it even harder to unlock specific items, and all of this was done to encourage people to spend real money for more frequent chances.

It’s a system, like any lootbox system, which exists for the purposes of greed and greed alone. People only defended it because they were lied to about the “free” content it “funded”.

Probably not, though a system similar to it would have to come out if the gamer were free-to-play.

A bunch of regressive types in this discussion. Man…
