halo infinite remove/add guns in updates

Hopefully Halo Infinite won’t do an annoying update every 2 weeks too add like one gun and remove 1 like Most F2P games.I don’t mind new guns to keep gameplay fresh but just not every 2 weeks

I doubt they will be removing any weapons.
Halo doesn’t exactly have a massive sandbox of individual weapons, like Destiny for instance.

And when it comes to adding new ones, they will likely save them for the seasonal updates to drive buzz. If they decide to add guns like the original Shotgun and Magnum, they won’t just drop them willy nilly.

im sure they are gonna be adding a few new guns for people to try in the upcoming pvp flight test

“Vaulting” isn’t a balancing practice seen in Halo. And if it becomes one, 343i likely wouldn’t do it for Halo Infinite’s core weapons.

And it won’t happen for Forget/Customs.

I hope they reveal more unsc weapons that we haven’t seen yet

I think they’re probably going to have a phase to see what works and what doesn’t. We’ll see.

The only time it’s reasonable to remove a weapon in video games is if its legitimately broken (as in makes the game stop functioning, not “is very good/borderline overpowered”).

Otherwise, no reason.

maybe they will put the og magnum into the game to go along the sidekick.

Yes, I can imagine them adding classic weapons or new weapons every season, making the game feel fresh. And hopefully both in multiplayer and campaign.

I don’t think they will remove or “vault” weapons in rotation every two weeks. They more likely add map variant with different weapon spawns (like live fire having the heatwave or bulldog, then there will be the shotgun).

That sounds interesting, as long as they don’t go too crazy and pay attention to map design and spawns. For example: Standoff is a horrible spawnkill campfest of a map with snipers, but the standard map is great.
