I’m considering doing a monthly update with the changes in my thoughts on Halo: Infinites Release up until the official announcement.
You will not find leaks here. You will not find news. Just my thoughts and opinions.
Let’s revisit Halo: Infinite’s release date.
We know:
-
Halo releases Fall 2021 - Bonnie Ross teased Xbox and Halo: Combat Evolved’s 20th Anniversary - The months of Fall are September to December. - Holiday 2021 is not used nor mentioned - We can narrow the days down to Thursdays and Tuesdays after September 15th and before December 15th. (Totaling 27 days including the widespread belief of November 15th.)I believe:
-
Halo: Infinite will launch on a Tuesday or Thursday. - It will not launch on Halo: Combat Evolved’s Birthday. (explanation will be below) - A launch closer to September is more likely than one closer to December - December is very unlikelyWe don’t know:
-
If Bonnie Ross’s tease is correlated with Halo: infinite or a seperate thing - The exact release dateOk, if we narrowed down the dates and removed any dates after November 18th, which I believe to be the last possible day of release, we have 19 days possible for the release.
If Bonnie’s Tweet is correlated with the release of Halo: Infinite and Halo: Combat Evolved’s Birthday, I see three possible dates.
- November 11th - November 16th - November 18thIf not, any Tuesday or Thursday between September 15th and November 18th could work.
Now, there are several reasons I believe Halo: infinite will not release on November 15th, 2021.
- Halo: MCC will probably be having a major event on that day. And a launch of a game will nullify the event. - You want people playing Combat Evolved on the 15th. Not Infinite. - MCC will probably be the Game for Gold for November. - MCC will most likely be taking priority over Infinite near the 15th. - All Halo games may be discounted heavily and thus Halo: Infinite will have to compete financially with it’s siblings. - Infinite launching on the 15th will overshadow Combat Evolved’s 20th Anniversary. This is why it was possible to release on the 10th last year. It would overshadow a worthless anniversary of 19 years. - It is a Monday. No Halo game has ever released on any day but a Tuesday or Thursday. - Holliday 2021 is not what is advertised. So, November seems a little unlikely. October seems more likely. When the word Fall (or Autumn) is mentioned. One thing that comes to a lot of people’s mind is Pumpkins or Squash. And another thing. Halloween. Halloween is the big Holliday in the Fall. September feels more like summer. November is close to winter. So, with all of that, my best guess at the moment is an October 14th, 19th, or 21st. And the Tweet by Bonnie is not correlated but a tease for something else happening on November 15th other than Halo: Infinite’s release.
I am ready to hear your contradictions!
