Halo: Infinite Release Date - Revisited (Final)

And we now approach E3 2021 in 12 days. This will be very exciting!

So, without further ado, I present my final opinions, beliefs, and prediction for Halo: Infinite’s release date.

As per usual:
Please read this whole post before responding. I will not respond to those that clearly did not read the whole thing.

As always:
NO LEAKS NOR FACTS WILL BE PRESENTED HERE. THESE ARE MY PREDICTIONS.

Original Thread (This thread will be referenced. Please go here to see further detail. Do NOT comment on this thread please!)
So, let me start by simply saying my final prediction is November 11th, 2021 as the release date. My reasons are many. I’ll try to list them all considering this is the last time I write on this topic.

  • It is a Thursday - It is on MCC’s 7th Anniversary (Which includes Combat Evolved) - It is in November - It is exactly 366 days from the original release date in 2020 (~1 year) - It falls in a reasonable time frame for Halo: Divine Wind’s release date of October 19th, 2021 (Only one week later than Halo: The Fall of Reach’s release vs Combat Evolved’s release in October and November 2001, respectively. - It gives Combat Evolved its own day to shine without interference from Halo: Infinite’s release - It allows for an in-game event in MCC and/or Infinite for Xbox’s 20th birthday.I think that is all of my reasons. I may edit later if I think of others.

It has been a long time since my original thread. But I think this is my final decision. Unless something drastic happens in the next week, I see no reason in believing any other date is reasonable.

Notes:

  • I refuse to acknowledge a November 15th release. Please see my original thread for info on why. I will not respond to nor acknowledge anyone flat out saying anything along the lines of “It will launch on November 15th because Halo: Infinite ‘is a Spiritual Reboot’/‘was teased on Twitter by Bonnie Ross’/‘it is Halo/Xbox 20th anniversary’” I discussed several times why it won’t happen and don’t care to repeat myself several times more. If there is a reason I have not yet heard, I’ll listen to that. - If anyone has any other ideas on release dates I do want to hear them and why you think it will launch on that day. - I am no Insider. I have zero ideas of the release date. These are just my thoughts and opinions.
Anyone have any thoughts, opinions, ideas, or have further questions on how I came to this conclusion?

I really like your idea and I hope it’s true!

I’m betting on October 20 simply because Divine Wind’s release date is so weird.

Halo games usually come out on Tuesdays and I think Halo Infinite will follow that. I think the delay has taken off a lot of potential stress and crunch and 343 will try to release the game with plenty of time going into the holiday season (without rushing the game), so I think it’ll release October 26.

That makes sense, though I’d like for it to be released on November 7th.

The reasoning for this is 11/7. Yeah that’s all, i just think it’d be cool. Yours is more likely, though.

Funny, I had a debate with friends last week about Infinite release day and some were saying November 7th while others were saying November 15th but I was the only one who said November 11th because (not sure about other country but) big games in France don’t normally release on Sunday or Monday.
They mostly get release on Thursday or Friday because it’s the day before the week-end and most people don’t work on week-end so releasing on a Thursday or Friday means people will buy it and potentially play it a lot because of the 2 days of free time they have. (Saturday and Sunday)

100% feel it will be up for another delay, If its not delayed I still win.

Halo games have launched on Tuesdays or Thursdays. No other days.

Halo: The Fall of Reach released October 30th, 2001. 2 weeks before Halo: Combat Evolved. Timing shows the book is the prequel to the game. A true testament to 343 Industries’ resolve to making this a Spiritual Reboot.

While I agree, the 7th is a Sunday. So, I doubt it. Think about this though:
Halo: Infinite launches on the 11th on MCC’s 7th anniversary. (11th/7th) 117

Same in the USA. Rare for a game to launch on any day other than Tuesday or Thursday. (This trend was set by SEGA back in the 90s and hasn’t broken yet.)

OH THAT’S EVEN MORE SUBTLE! I LOVE IT!
