So im thinking about getting halo infinite on steam, but i just wanna play the campaign like a mf speedrunner then get to multiplayer for the rest of the time. Knowing that the multiplayer is free to play i might just get the multiplayer with my friends. So here is the question: Are there any advanteges to getting the 60$ game for just the campaign if im gonna play the multiplayer more, i mean like armour or colours in the campaign?
Buy the game if you like the Franchise or want to try out a Halo Campaign. This game will be much larger in scope than past Halo titles it seems so the value is there.

Well, yes, i think you dhould buy the campaign for 60€ and since the mp is free, maybe there is more than just campaign in there. Life is like a box of chocolate. You never know, what you’ll get.

Or, subscribe to Game Pass for PC to play Campaign (not on Steam), and unsubscribe when you’re done (or not… there are so many incredible games on it!)
Maybe wait to see if other people suggest it after they’ve played it.
You probably would be better off going through xbox game pass for pc if you only intend to do a quick play though of the campaign and then on to multiplayer with no intention of going back to the campaign. I think with the way the campaign is going to be structured even a speed run on it will be significantly longer than previous games.
Since we don’t actually know what is included in the full paid game, no one can answer this question for you yet. We know that multiplayer is free-to-play and that there is a paid version as well. That is literally all we know right now. So, hopefully you are able to stall this $60 decision to later in the year.
i mean if you get it on game pass you wont have to pay for it unless you want it forever. the campaign will probably give free stuff tho so that could be potentially better than just the F2P MP
This is why I hope Infinite is lower than the usual $60 price tag. If the MP is free, then the whole game should cost less for those who purchase the rest of the game. Let me explain:
- Either purchase the game for $60 and get the campaign, extras, and MP - Or get the game for free and get the MP onlySooo why pay $60 for essentially just the campaign and extras while everyone gets the MP for free?
