Not really dude, the OG Shotgun is still the best but the Bulldog is actually pretty good gun

The amount of ammo it holds sucks the amount of extra ammunition you can carry for it sucks the amount of damage it does sucks it would probably take about four shots from the bulldog to takedown a flood combat form has to where the OG shotgun could do that in one two shots wasting less ammo you see the bulldog uses 12 gauge shotgun shells as to where the OG shotgun used 8 gauge shotgun shells

The Bulldog is just a shotgun with seemingly less shot. 343 just took the regular shotgun and moved the stats around. Otherwise, it is the same, especially in campaign

They could add it in but the chances are slim.
I think they might add it with Infection, but that’s just me.
It really isn’t good for anything else in Infinite due to how the maps are laid out.
The Bulldog isn’t a way to counter Hammer/Sword at all, except for your own ability to live long enough to pick one of them up.
They don’t exist on the same maps, lol.
On any map that matters its one or the other. The bulldog doesn’t counter the sword because they only coexist on fiesta and btb.

The problem with the shotgun, is its poor matchup against similar close range weapons and the fact that 343 loves tiny reticles and awfully designed aim assist. Energy sword is OP, because you can easily slide into range and lunge into enemies from further than ever before. It also is extremely buggy, like when lunging at enemies above or below (not including the terrible hit registration tied to Infinite). Hammer is OP, because it has a ridiculous range to compensate for having nothing else that makes the hammer fun or interesting. Desync allows it to reach 5-7 meters, but it has 0 gravity effects and the worst melee in existence. It certainly doesn’t help that lunging is the worst ever in any Halo game, as enemies will lunge from a good 4 meters away, but being up close and personal doesn’t let you lunge, because you were aiming .01mm too far to the left of your 1mm sized reticle. Old shotgun had a generous reticle and rewarded good timing and spacing. New shotgun punishes spam firing and using it beyond 8 meters against almost anything else, despite its ROF and range. It’s damage output is too weak, considering it has the highest damage drop off ever, plus spread, plus being a 3 shot kill on full health vs 1 swordy boy that pressed the slide and lunge keys in your direction. If the aim assist was even half as fair as old Halo, you’d be landing shots and completing that sh*ty Bulldog challenge by now.
Apart from fire power, I liked its kick and sound effects.
i dont like it either pvp, i always play campaign or bot bootcamp and often btb, but not all the other things, if infection comes i will play that too

the older i get, the more i absolutely hate pvp, but infinite brought my inner hate to an all time high.
nothing works right in this game and its extremely unmotivating to attemt anything. i can barely finish one game of btb because of the constant unbalanced teams and garbage weapons.
i did not buy campaign because it does not look very interesting in terms of gameplay and i will probably be unengaged with whatever they decided to mess up in the story too.
