Hey guys, just wondering…
how much will 343 industries most likely charge us to get Halo Infinite???
Any ideas???
im guessing 60 still as its a cross gen title and considering its using smart delivery there isnt gonna be different SKUs now a limited edition now thats a different story
It’s been listed for 60 US dollars on the Microsoft store before although it isn’t available for preorder as of right now. My guess is the base edition will be 60 and then a collector’s edition for maybe 100 dollars and up from there. They may do a digital deluxe edition for 70 dollars but I’m personally not a huge fan of those
I’m going to guess the usual $60 price tag we’ve seen before. But with the MP being free to play, I’m hoping the game will be cheaper. It would be kind of annoying to pay full price for the campaign, MP, and other add-ons while someone else gets the MP portion for free. If that part is free for those who don’t buy the game, it should be free for those who buy the rest of the game.
Hmm interesting…
Since the multiplayer is free, the campaign should cost less than 60$ OR cost 60$ and include exclusive stuff for the multiplayer which would cost more if bought separately.
But to be fair we should also consider the fact that the Infinite campaign will be bigger (and supposedly better even though bigger doesn’t necessarly imply better) than all of the previous ones, and this is costly.
As Karim points out, multiplayer will be free to play on all platforms. The ‘lost’ income will probably end up coming from microtransactions instead.
Regardless, with the campaign looking like it will be a large semi-open with side-quests, I would be surprised if it would priced less that usual. That is US$60, AU$100, or £60 (damn are games really that expensive in the UK or is that just Game.co having wild prices?).
Hmm just asking (this may be stupid), is it possible we can get either one separately, since some people prefer campaign only and others want multiplayer only or because of file space?
It’s gonna be a no right?
The scope of this Halo game seems dramatically larger than previous titles so $60 is fair.

No clue yet, given the split nature of the free to play game I want to say yes; but it’s way too early to figure that out.

I hope we can split it, cuz in my country, $60 is so expensive.

Also sir/ma’am, it’s an honor chatting with you.
Don’t know but I have Game Pass and will buy the Collector Edition

I imagine it will just be the normal version. I’ll buy the best version anyways.
I’m going to say its going to cost $60.00 USD

Cool!
the base game should cost around $60, and if there is a legendary edition I suspect it will be around the $100 range…
Given that even Jedi: Fallen Order was $60 on release a couple years back I think Infinite will be at least that and even compared to that which would eventually release on EA Play, Infinite will release on Game Pass day 1 so plenty of players won’t buy that outright. That, like Infinite’s non-F2P part, is single player only.
There’s the double-edged sword with that: if they’re already expecting to ship less because of Game Pass then that may increase manufacturing costs.
