How does purchasing the Premium Battle Pass work? Is it a temporary subscription service like Game Pass or does it last forever? Does the Premium Battle Pass selling now only apply to Season 1 Heroes of Reach or does purchasing the Premium Battle Pass now apply to all the seasons that will ever exist for Halo Infinite?

It last forever and when you have more than one pass, you can switch back and forth between them to progress one at a time.

Premium battlepass allows you to unlock all the customization unlocks featured in the battle pass that arent free. Its not temporary, nor is it like gamepass. It lasts forever and doesnt go away, meaning if later down the line when there are other seasons of the BP, you can go back and purchase if you missed it, or if already purchased and not fully completed, you can go back to it and finish unlocking the cosmetics. If you are talking about the Premium Battlepass BUNDLE, then that gives you the Premium BP as well as a large amount of XP grants that can level you up to the 25th tier in the BP. So the bundle allows you to skip 1/4th of the bp at a cost. I would say just buy the regular Premium BP over the bundle if you want to save money.
Lasts forever. However, you can only work on one battle pass at a time. So if this one is incomplete when season 2 comes along you’ll have to choose which one to progress. Any XP earned then goes towards that battlepass. You can switch between battlepasses at any time though.
This one on sale now only applies to season one. You’ll have to purchase each new battlepass as they get released.
