I think that there should be playable elites, grunts, marines, odst, and different flood form, I just that would be a cool addition for different types of clans that would want to move to Halo Infinite
In story mode, what would be nice is to play more Chief than Locke, and what would be a better alternative is if you could choose who to play as if you’re playing as Osiris or Blue Team. And I can agree with playable grunts, it would be fun to role play as YapYap the Destroyer!
Infinite is going to focus on chief, but I think it would be cool if we got our own playable character (just like Noble 6 in Reach) with a few missions of their own. Being able to see chief from a third person perspective on occasion might be beneficial to the storytelling, depending on how it’s handled.
I think there should be 2 simultaneous campaigns. One were you play as Chief, and the other were you play as your own custom character. I love how Reach builds its world around a character that’s up to the player to create. Having a distinct character in the main story and an isolated custom spartan for multiplayer is just that - isolating. I think if you want to encounter the events of Infinite as yourself (or your own spartan) then you should be able to. Perhaps see Chief from another perspective. It would also be cool to play as the Arbiter. I think instead of making one character the ‘main character’ that you have to play as, give the choice to the player. Perhaps one player likes the Arbiter more than Chief. All the characters journeys should be together, like a team, so you can pick your character and have similar experiences in the same campaign. Perhaps make a new team, one with Blue Team and the Arbiters folk combined. One thing that would be mind blowing is if Infinite’s campaign allowed for up to 8 players. Also if the Arbiter had his own team and Blue Team Stayed together, that’d be perfect; because if there are playable elites, then if you’re custom character is an elite and you choose your custom character in the campaign, then you’ll follow more closely to the Arbiter, while if your character was a Spartan, then you would follow the Chief more closely. Just some ideas. But regardless, I’d love to play as my own spartan in the campaign.
For MP you mean? Maybe as a separate mode. I’d rather general MP be spartans/elites and ranked just Spartans.
This would be awesome for Campaign and Customs games and Only Sangheili(Elites) in Multiplayer alongside Spartans(Because Lekgolo/Mgalekgolo(Hunters) would be OP, Unggoy(Grunts), Marines, ODST’s, Yanme(Drones), Jackals(Kig Yar) would be UP, and Promethean’s, Flood, and Jiralhanae might work). I love the idea of choosing the character you play as and choosing your whole squad would be even more lit, my only hope for custom characters is we aren’t killed off.

I hope for the campaign that the 2 player will be echo 216 so it feels that they are adding to the story or if the 2 player can’t add to the story should be a marine not just another clone of master chief or a spartan 3 like in reach or from odst pls I would love to see this be
