Hey, I’m playing halo infinite on pc and I have the problem that if I scroll up/down the mouse wheel too much, I just end swaping to the same weapon, thids already caused me many deaths and is really frustrating, ¿there’s a way to fix it? I’m too used to swap weapons in that way in shooters and halo infinite is the only one where I had this kind of problem.
PD: No, I refuse to change the keybind for anything else or something similar, this isn’t a problem in any other game.
Does your mouse wheel free spin or have a click? I don’t have a problem with my g502 proteous core.
This drives me nuts too! I use MMB click for weapon swapping in MCC and Infinite, and it feels close enough to scrolling since it’s the same area on the mouse.
A click, I try to move it slowly to just click it 1 time, but I’m not used to it and when I’m in the middle of some hot fight I just keep doing big spins like I always did in any other shooter (included other halo games), I’m going insane for real.
[PC] I mentioned this somewhere else but I play a couple of other fps and they allow you to map your weapons to two separate keys as well as the swap. I use a mouse with side buttons and use it to select my weapons in all my other fps. Would love for that to be a possibility in Infinite.
Same issue. I have had mouse wheel switch weapons in almost every FPS and no issues. However, in this game it would constantly switch back to the previous weapon. I have increased resistance with my mouse for the scrolling and still nothing. Seems like their input needs to have some sort of buffer after the initial scroll. So that it doesn’t see the input as multiple scrolls.
Me too. It’s horrible on my Logitech mouse but not so bad on my Razer.
Yup, same problem. I’ve submitted tickets so I hope 343 is fixing it. It works fine in Halo: CE lol
