Running into an issue right now, I know a lot of people mostly buy digital games now when it comes to PC, but for myself I still like to hold a physical copy, especially steelbooks as a collectors item, i got it for Doom Eternal, I got it for Cyberpunk (oops). But i feel when it comes to infinite, despite realising it’s an Xbox focus game, it has a sheer lack of collectors items or anything at all for PC. I actually want to give 343 my money on this one and currently am feeling there are no good options to do so, assuming that we don’t get a release in the next couple of months with new information, i’ll likely end up buying it on steam. However through what they have shown so far, i can only be lead to believe that we will not be getting anything for PC in terms of physical copies as the new release of product information was all Xbox focused and this being one of the last major oppertunities to release information like this, I have my doubts we shall see anything regarding PC editions. Unsure if anyone has anymore information on this but would be appreciated if you do.
i dont think there has been a physical halo game since halo 2 vista, MCC didnt get a physical release and it seems like they dont really care about physical editions this time since the collector editions come with like a blue color and $15 xbox card and a steel book. so i wouldnt put any weight into getting a physical PC edition.
At best for PC editions we might get a steam styled skin but i feel like that would have been announced by now so we probably will get nothing.

He means for PC, we haven’t had a physical edition since Halo 2. To which I still have my copy, same with Halo CE.

These are good points, they don’t really seem to, I have hopes of seeing something over the next couple of months but i’m highly doubtful that we will. Especially with what the actual editions even for Xbox are showing, they don’t really seem invested in doing anything like they have done in the past this time around.

Fair enough. I thought that might be the case. I wish I still had my Halo 2 Steel Case Collectors edition…but I traded it in at gamestop probably 15 years ago…Stupid mistake made by a stupid teenager.

Ahh I feel you buddy that sucks, the only limited edition I have left is for Halo Wars for the 360, everything else was lost to time. I do have my base editions for Halo CE and Halo 2 for PC but this is all.

In all fairness I didn’t take care of it either. I am pretty sure there was a decent dent in the case from bringing it to friends houses to play.
