Halo Infinite PC - Contrast too high

Unable to change any settings on my PC or in-game to resolve this high contrast issue.

Black areas are too dark and light areas are too bright. Gaming experience is unbearable, cannot see anything at times.

Laptop: Lenovo Legion 5 - RTX 3060 - Ryzen 7 5800H

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Seems to be a few people having issues who have Lenovo Legion laptops. Search ‘lenovo’ to find them.

This thread includes one possible workaround, though it may be impractible for you to do:

There is some mention of HDR issues on the Halo Support site:

I have a Legion 7i and have the same issue. Turning on HDR manually helped some but there are still issues with some areas being too bright.

Thanks for the replies.

Still haven’t been able to resolve this issue, but I’ve moved on to other games in the meantime.

Fix. Dolby Vision is broken in Halo Infinite and since our laptops don’t support HDR, it forces the broken Dolby Vision. Disable the default color profile in color management and launch game. Game will launch in SDR then.

Seems to be an issue with HDR / brightness even on my series s, I can no longer change it in game, have to go to settings in main menu to change it and then load save game, also brightness keeps defaulting and have to change it every time I play.

Hey, i have the same issue. Did you manage to fix it? Not sure what you mean by remove default in colour management?

In your Display Settings you should find settings for color profile.
