There’s a patch coming on 5 April (West Coast US date):
https://twitter.com/HaloSupport/status/1511130052162834432
“A small patch for #HaloInfinite will go live at 11am PT tomorrow, April 5. This includes fixes for Power Seed spawns, Fireteam invites on Xbox, and changes to CTF’s Sudden Death rules. Patch Notes will be published…when the patch is available.”
However until they finally allow us to Select the Server we play on (as in MCC and H5), I will not be re-installing Halo Infinite on my Xbox.
I refuse to play matches where 343’s connection code decides that 250 ms ping times to Amsterdam Server are somehow better than 25 ms ping times to Seattle Server, when I’m in Alberta Canada.
It is completely unacceptable that this still is an issue this far into the game.
I’m not sure how patches work, but could we possibly get one for 343 studios?
Could we just cut that part of the game? Can you cut content post launch? I am not very smart and would like to know. Thanks in advance!
Considering this is supposed to be a live service game, patches like this should be coming out on a weekly, or at the very least bi-weekly basis.
It shouldnt be anything surprising if they were truly attempting to make a live service game. But they arent. This game is still barren. There is no live service lol
