Halo Infinite Option 2 female Spartans?

Why can’t people pay as visually identifiable female Spartans. I don’t mind the existing body types as options, but I don’t want them to be the only options. I think their needs to be a fourth option that has a shorter torso (to reduce the Spartans height), more curved/reduced shoulders, and for them to find a way for the lower portion of the chest and back armor to conform better at the bottom. It’s nearly impossible to distinguish genders other than voice. Feminine armor sets could also help with this issue like, H4 scout, Vales armor, Kats armor, ect…
What are your guys thoughts and opinions, I would also like a George Body type or individual sliders to make arms bigger or smaller than the existing presets. Maybe they can go crazy and you can scale leg, pectoral, arm, shoulder ect… with a slider system in the future.

Sounds great, I’d like to recreate my body in spartan form
But what about the advantage of being a smaller, thinner, target?
Maybe hard to compensate the hitbox?
Cool idea, anybody want to weigh in?

I like how it is in Infinite, it is a more realistic way for a buff female Spartan super-soldier to look.

I would like female spartan options that are distinguishable from the male options, but aren’t overly sexualized. They’re supersoldiers, not supermodels.

There was another thread on this…

Copy paste female spartans from Reach. The models they currently have in Infinite are all the same.

Hopefully my redesign wont disappoint!

Well this is a Spartan IV program, not an aesthetics program. Spartans aren’t designed to look attractive and I doubt they get a preference sheet before they go in for augmentation. The idea is to make soldiers that are strong, fast, etc, a small Spartan could in theory be those, but if we compare the 3’s to the 2’s there were obvious draw backs with the 3’s mentally as well as physically.

I shall reference Installation00 here in links rather than sit here and explain it (mostly because I don’t want to incorrectly spout information).

Installation00’s breakdown of the Spartan-III

Installation00’s breakdown of the Spartan-II

Note that those links they speak on augments which have a large impact on the size of the Spartan’s. The fourth generation of Spartan I believe gets roughly the same augments, so I don’t know how possible it is to change your overall appearance before or during augmentation.

Edit: My point is that deviating from the augments that goes into a Spartan can lead to disastrous effects. Note that the Spartan-III’s got a different upbringing, between how they were picked and what augments they got made it so that some of them were heavily reliant on a medication to keep them stable. There’s no telling what changing the formula to allow for aesthetically appealing outcomes may lead to mentally or physically.

They are Spartans…that wear Armor and an exoskeleton …how would you possibly be able to tell the difference anyways. This isn’t fortnite. They are female warriors that are equally as tough as the men that wear the Armor…

Because of basic human biology lol. A female bodybuilder might be jacked but she still looks clearly very different from a male body builder.

this whole thread is dumb af but this -Yoinking!- part made me burst out laughing :skull::skull::skull: like bro??? what the -Yoink- is a feminine armor set :skull::skull::skull:

and why do you feel like distinguishing male and female spartans is important lmao. are you gonna exclusively target male or female spartas? like, ???

I will love to see female spartans to look like on reach, I think it is very cool to be able to recognize a female spartan from a male spartan, its like seeing a training where male and females can participate as equals of course this is fantasy thats why I think thats very cool, same speed, aim and hyper lethal

The real reason females were excluded: Distinctively male and female bodies offend some people… at the expense of even more people. It’s almost as if people who have spent years practicing healthy eating habits, exercising, and playing sports are now supposed to feel ashamed of the physiques they have achieved.

Sad that half of the world population, and a lesser (but still large) percentage of the game population, has been left not represented. Really, they want to pride themselves that they are representing amputees and people born without limbs (also a good population to represent) while excluding women and left-handed firers? My daughters, who spend most of their times in games customizing their characters, have no way to express themselves now.

I highly doubt they simply overlooked talking about this in the recent flight feedback article. It was definitely an issue that fans brought up on numerous occasions.

Embarrassingly bad counterarguments:
“Spartans are androgenous”. False. The best female athletes in the world, and female Spartans in every past game, are still distinctly feminine, unless their sport requires them to carry a large amount of fat, which would never apply to a Spartan.

“Mess up hitboxes”. Hit boxes for females in Reach and H5 and Elites in H3 were the same as they were for males yet they had very different body shapes. No adverse affects here.

“They’re covered by armor”. Yeah, and their undersuit is skin-tight. If I were to put on a compression top and bottom, the material is like 3 mm thick. My physique would not automatically turn into these new dad bod Spartans with no muscle definition.

I am sure that the social and political arguments as to including distinctively “female” and “male” body types but I personally suspect that the call will really come down to the reality of hitboxes. If I can make my spartan a 7’6" behemoth built like Jorge, there will be either a confusing hit box if they are all the same or a disadvantage compared to someone who sets themselves as a comparatively dainty 6’ slender spartan.

You look like you gave the female spartan a beer gut…

I hope halo stays out of politics of any kind

Canon again? You can accept stupid M6D overpowered than DMR, accept flaming helmet, why not accept slimmer Spartan just in MP for fun.

The talk about wanting female Spartan body types to be more “female” and people giving their photoshops of what they think they should look like reminds me (sadly) of when somebody took Aloy from Horizon: Forbidden West and turned her from a woman with a realistically rounded face that countless women have into some hyper-idealized fake person of the likes you’d see in a mobile game ad. It just feels icky.
