I wish Halo Wars 2 was on Steam
It should be on any PC platform they can put it on for maximum exposure, but they won’t 
It all depends on how Microsoft wants the sales to go; if they don’t want a middle man, they won’t do it. I do believe that a portion of profits goes to Steam when games are put on it. (Don’t quote me on that)
Sry no matter how much you want it not gonna happen. The whole reason they won’t release it on steam is because steam is a big piece of competition for Microsoft so of course their gonna keep a high selling franchise to them selves.

All Xbox exclusive games are releasing on Xbox and PC

I highly doubt Microsoft wants to be in the middle of the fight between Epic and Steam. Especially when developers are going with Epic over Steam due to developer money.
The game will most likely be released on MS Store which Phil has stated they are looking at updating it and making more user friendly
I’d say it all depends on where the marketing team wants the direction of halo to go.

Yes it is fully confirmed for W10. I thought the question was about Steam specifically, not just PC. I was saying they should release on everything they can within PC, meaning Steam, Epic Store, GOG, etc.
No. There’s no reason or incentive for Microsoft to market it on any other host than Xbox Live, especially considering how greedy Valve has gotten with game revenue over the past few years.
I hope it releases on Steam. It’s the biggest storefront for games on the PC. And PC gamers have time and time again rejected Microsoft’s failed storefronts on the platform. I hope they just give in and release Halo Infinite on Steam. I care about the game’s population more than any sort of platform loyalty, and releasing it on Steam would only help bolster the game’s player count.
