I’m just sitting here grinning to myself how awesome it’ll be to see people playing Halo Infinite on Valve’s all new Steam Deck. Is that even doable? lmao.
Considering that it’s made for even modern games it’s definitely doable when both release. Now the settings it will have to run at is the question.
Dang it OP. I was only partially interested in a Steam Deck… until now!

I preordered the 512gb , will have until then to decide if I want another hand held console. Have the Switch for all their main Triple A title games.
Seeing as the Steam Deck is meant to run any steam game… all halo but 5 will be one it.
The Steam Deck’s hardware is roughly on the level of last-gen consoles, so it’ll be able to run the MCC and Infinite will perform about as well as it will on the XBone. Possibly worse, actually, because it’s a Linux-based system that has to emulate all Windows-programs using additional system resources, compared to the XBone which will run Infinite natively.
as the game will be released on PC and certainly steam too, I think it will be possible.
