So found out that they removed more then just the special gun in campaign there apparently or some sort of Pelican glitch in campaign that was removed as well also trick jumps in multiplayer were also removed my friend said it’s like they’re trying to make people angry what could they add to multiplayer and campaign I mean 343 Industries it’s basically making it to where I don’t want to play their games because there there removing alot of stuff I consider fun and a lot of other people consider fun

There’s a couple of schools of thought here…
One is that 343 are just evil people, sitting around and doing nothing except plotting ways to make your life just that little more miserable.
Or…
The various glitches had to be cleaned up. Telemetry was showing that people were abusing the “trick” and it was making the game unfair or unfun for others. The most obvious being that it gave one spawn unfair access to equipment or a power weapon.
Or maybe it was just the victim of another fix. Maybe they updated / optimised the map and the hitbox on that bit of geometry was inadvertently changed. It may have been sacrificed to the Gods of faster loading or framerates…
Well I know someone had told me that the Tank Gun would causes glitches for them never caused any glitches for me though the thing is they do not have to completely the Tank Gun they could have made it a skull or something but 343 Industries doesn’t want to put any effort into making something fun
A lot of people are (rightly) upset about the campaign glitches being patched. I guess the competitive community is also bothered by balance changes and changes to movement, but hopefully changes to multiplayer make the experience better for the majority of players. But fixes for campaign glitches that people really enjoyed and didn’t take away from the experience don’t make sense.
Joseph Staten did actually respond saying…
“Hey Spartans, this week has been bumpy. That definitely wasn’t our goal. We are indeed taking your feedback to heart, especially regarding map jumps and speed running. We’re reviewing options and will have more news to come”
So 343 are listening, so it’s a possibility coil jump etc may return, unless it causes game breaking issues, or issues with co-op I guess

All I can say is if the Tank Gun causes game breaking issues then at least make it a skull and give it some sort of model or form if you can
