It is likely that Infinite will launch on a new Xbox but there are other ways to get more people to buy Infinite and the new xbox.
Xbox One Reveal event was a disaster as it focused on television and left gameplay to e3. It should had centered on games, especially in the reveal event. The new Xbox reveal event needs to be focused on games, note entertainment and television, It needs to have gameplay but not as much as e3, game trailers, confirm that it will be backwards combatable with all games of Xbox original, 360 and one.
360 was successful because it centered on games, true gaming experience like xbox live, arcade, multiplayer, offline, no pre own fees and discs didn’t need to be installed, especially if a friend wants to borrow your game. A friend had to pay it as xbox one was confirmed to have a pre own fee.
The new Xbox Reveal event should have another new trailer for Halo Infinite but confirm the release date at e3. Also talk about gaming experience, not television for programmes. 360 led the console war. If xbox cannot think any thing good to do at the reveal event, then they should just reveal it at e3 instead to make it easier.
This is just my thought so that fans could buy the new xbox with halo infinite. I still like the xbox in general
What do you think, how should the new xbox reveal their console to be successful like what the 360 did?
Microsoft has learned from its mistakes with previous E3 reveals so I think its safe to say that for now on things will be heavily focused on games. Also I think it’s been confirmed that Halo Infinite will make an appearance at this years E3.

There were other things as well, pre own fees sucked, if you are not connected to wifi, players cant even play single player games and they don’t get achievements. Plus you cant create an offline account, if you want a local account but without xbox live, ps4 has it, 360 had it but one is mostly just online.

I’ll be buying the new Xbox and Playstation consoles anyway, I need them both for their exclusives. Phil Spencer has shown me enough to convince me Xbox is in a good place with the hardware, and sony has some good exclusives, Nioh 2 is my most anticipated. I already have my money ready to pre order both consoles when they’re announced. As for Halo Infinite, I’ll buy it if 343i deliver a good game. If they deliver a half baked game like they did with MCC and Halo 5 I’ll pass. The onus is on 343i to convince me to get their game, not E3 or the next console.
It would be nice to have halo mcc and 5 releasing on the new gen the same say infinite comes out, but i hope it’s backwards compatible with all Xbox original and 360 games, no matter of the game is good it bad.
Pretty much what you said, focus on games and performance. You show some good xbox/PC only games and bump standard frame rate up from 30 to 60, people will want to buy.

Yea they aren’t going to reveal much and definitely not gameplay.
I hope the new xbox doesn’t have pre own fees, where if i let someone borrow my game, they had lay me which sucked plus even if you have discs, still had to install but i liked the idea where gold was focused on consoles other than accounts.

so far i have hear the news about the new xbox its disc free it has no disc space its only download.
Also, many say xbox has no games but in e3 2018, xbox showed more exclusives than e3, I hope in the next gen, we get more exclusives. Also in xbox 360 we had arcade games which was one of the reason why people loved the 360.
Xbox is very different compared to how it was in 2013. We have Phil Spencer now instead of Don Mattrick, and so far Spencer has show that he is very capable at running the Xbox brand. I do believe that it is likely that Infinite will be a launch title for the next Xbox. Xbox at this point is more than just a console, so if they do announce the next Xbox at E3 2019, I think we’ll see a lot of it’s key features in both the gameplay aspect and entertainment as well. Since Infinite has a new engine, I think Xbox is gonna show the new graphics running on the next Xbox to really show off what the console is able to do. But honestly we’ll just have to wait and see for E3.

Yeah, but some still hate Xbox die to lack of exclusoves, scalebound cancelled, crackdown 3 delayed alot and failed, sea of thieves had a lack of content, state of decay 2 failed, quantum break mediocre.

And Phil Spencer is learning from that. Xbox just announced last year that they already have new studios for exclusive games. 2017 was when they released a powerful Xbox like fans wanted. 2018 they get new studios for games and now 2019/20 we’ll probably start getting a lot of good exclusive games. But only time will tell.

the only reason Xbox is doing also great this year on the E3 is that sony is not coming that means more the Concole wars on the E3 are done.
