Like the Snake Flag team can call in a massive Snake
No thanks, halo 4 did kill streak orbital drops and i hated it.
Want kill streaks go play cod or something
That is the dumbest idea, Halo doesn’t need Killstreaks, hell, it barely needs assassinations, but they’re kinda cool though, although I’d prefer them in just Campaign than in multiplayer.
This doesn’t work well in halo as I’m sure people say Halo 4 done orbital drops. Let me explain why having orbital drops was a bad thing in halo.
The first 3 mins of a match in halo 4 each team had a fair advantage by having the same weapons as each other but as soon as one team had more kills than the other and started calling in orbital drops then their entire team would have sniper rifles, rocket launchers, spartans layers, etc.
Sounds fun right…wrong.
All this did was make for unfair gameplay and the losing team would be pinned down and spawn trapped. I remember Ragnrok the remake map of valhalla. You and your team would be stuck in your base with the other team having you locked in with there vantage points. Tried walking outside, sniped…a vehicle spawned maybe that will help, spartan lasered. Nothing you could do to fight back in fact halo 4 was the worst halo’s for people leaving matches.
So weapon drops and weapons loadouts don’t belong in halo. It was tested with halo 4 and it didnt work well at all. So no thank you
Despite Halo 4 being my favourite MP, I really disliked the ordnance drops, it just turned the second half of the match into team fiesta. So I really don’t want that to ever return
Nah I say leave that kind of thing in games like COD. H4 tried killstreaks and community hated it.
If you’re positioning yourself well, kill streaks already exist in Halo. I mean, if you’re on a killing frenzy and you didn’t get yourself opportunities to grab rockets and snipers along the way, you’re doing killing sprees wrong
.
Depending on how robust they’re making forge, you could try and and build kill streaks into a gametype there.
I don’t think it’s a good idea, but you could try and make it yourself and see if it catches on. Halo has a history of bringing super popular custom games into their featured matchmaking playlists.
