Halo Infinite needs a Primordium themed season

Title says it all really.

Truthfully, I’m not sure what 343 Industries has in store for us in terms of seasons for Infinite. We know the first season is called Heroes of Reach and if the seasons for The Master Chief Collection are anything to go by we might be able to expect Reach-themed armor, nameplates, etc. Rolling with this, I think it’d be apt of a future season for Infinite revolves around the book Halo: Primordium. I say this because Infinite is set on Installation 07, the setting of that book. I made a rough mock-up on what some potential offerings could include, though I’m under no illusion all are likely. Without clicking on the link, here are the ideas:

  1. New Mission: PALACE - UNSC personnel across Zeta Halo have suddenly felt compelled to venture towards a msyertious installtion. Investigate the source drawing humans towards the structure.
  • [RATIONALE: This could either further exploration of and/or introduce the concept of the Palaces of Pain from Halo: Primordium to a wider audience depending on whether or not they factor in the main campaign or not.]2. New Armor: HELLCAT and PREFECT

  • [RATIONALE: While not strictly Primordium-related, a season like this could help bring back (maybe in a redesigned form) the HELLCAT armor which is based on anicent humans which the Forerunner Trilogy introduced AND bring back PREFECT (just because I think its neat)]3. New Personal AI: DAY-CHASER

  • [RATIONALE: Riser was a major character in the Forerunner Trilogy and I’d love to see a reference to Halo’s most famous Florian. We already know ONI is aware of his existence and have records of how he acted and spoke, so maybe they’ll try to “reconstruct” his personality for some top-secret purposes. Or, again, just because it’s neat.]4. New Nameplates: Bornstellar, Forthencho, Mendicant

  • [RATIONALE: All three of these characters were big players in the Forerunner trilogy, but some major developments for all three came from Primordium. The artwork comes from Cryptum, Halo 4’s terminals, and Mythos, and is just too good not to use elsewhere.]5. Miscellenous

  • Armor coating based on the Refractive skin from Halo 4 which itself is based on the Didact? - Weapon charm based on Mara, a gigantopithecus character from Primordium?
By no means am I saying 343 need to do these things specifcally, but it’s just to show the ideas are there.

I think this is a great idea! And I appreciate the extra work that went into this post.

I look forward to seeing what (if any) story content may be tied to seasons. I’ll leave out my thoughts of how I think Halo Infinite may end, but it would be great to have some Primordial/Precursor lore featured in the game in some fashion (assuming it’s not already going to be somewhere in the main plot.)
