Halo Infinite needs a method to report cheaters from their profile menus

This is an extremely overdue feature, even though cheaters aren’t totally infecting this game quite yet, I’m still running into them way more than I’m comfortable with, and even winning sometimes :sunglasses:. The game already has a very low population and I’m not encountering cheaters any less frequently than a month ago, so if the game is in survival-mode trying to retain its population, then please at least put the cheaters on a list where they can only match with other cheaters.

There…there is…eyes work sometimes.

So you can report a player from their profile in Halo Infinite?

No you can’t.

It is a rather strange inclusion to be omitted. The in depth report system outside of the game is the only way to report a player, and it takes about a month for the team ti get around to.

I want whatever you are on, if I can see an in-game report option afterwards.

Reporting from their Xbox Live profile is not what they meant. The only times that actually has any use are when someone sends you racial slurs and/or hate mail.

Cheating reports on Xbox Live just get tossed in the trash.

For real, and I don’t see how staff can easily access the relevant theater files from such an out-of-the way reporting system. With a system from within the game, it seems like it would be way easier for players to report players immediately after sus matches, thus making it way easier for 343 to review the sus games even without theater links. The reporting infrastructure is there, players only need a way to access it from in-game user profiles, ideally with a way to link theater matches on reports.
