With the Tech Preview concluded for a couple of hours I have a couple of things to report feedback on. Mainly the Mute Player Functionality in the Tech Preview. Currently (I’m on Series X) you have to press the “Start” button to pause the game, then go to another menu (I forget the name of) that shows list of recent players, friends & the ones in your current match. From there you scroll to their name & toggle the mute button. Personally I found that complicated at first & it takes longer than it needs to be.
What I first tried doing & I’ll use this as an example, I strongly believe this is the way you should be able to mute a player is press the “Select” button which shows you your teamates and your opponents & all their score counts. From there you should be able to use the D-pad & scroll to the player you wish to mute & either press X to mute the Individual or Y to mute all exept for friends & people in your party/fireteam. I had to ask on a discord how to mute players as I couldn’t find the function.
Anyway those are my thoughts on the matter. I have a few other things I’d like to give feedback about but I’ll wait a bit & comment on someone else’s thread if they bring up something similar.
