Master Chief is the main focus of the game. The main story is on him. but could it be after the main campaign, you get to play as other characterʻs in their arc of the story? After all, Cortana is now assumed the biggest problem ever. I donʻt think this time, Master Chief can do it by himself.
Maybe main campaign we play as Chief to see his primary role in this story. And after the campaign, we unlock side missions that are unlocked about what Palmerʻs role in the fight was or Locke or play as the Arbiter. Maybe play as some of the team members of Osiris and Blue team, some new guy on the block, maybe even the enemy, who knows. I think that sounds fun. More content. More perspectives. Replayability… It gives an opportunity to explain more lore and ect.
That is a way to make use of campaign levels more than once. You could play the levels again, but as a different character, with different enemy encounters, and alternate storyline.
That would be awesome!It doesn’t even be on the Halo ring the story will likely be played the most.We could have other characters playable in different locations!I loved Halo Wars 2 dlc where in first dlc we played as ODST and in second as Banished.

My friend was telling me yesterday that supposedly there’s more than one ending as Infinite will allow you to make decisions. I dunno about the legitimacy of this claim though.

Halo has always had multiple endings if you take into account the Legendary ending, expanding on that makes sense imo. The campaign having more than one ending would mean making decisions, as you said. I would welcome that. I’ll wait for the official announcement if it happens. As for the accuracy of your friends info ? You know him, we don’t, I’ll wait for 343i to confirm.
