I hope they bring back the multiplayer levels that they used in reach. Leveling with numbers just doesn’t have the same cool factor.
On another note, I know they said there would be customization unlocks through leveling thats separate from the battlepass. I hope that there is something cool and worthwhile to unlock when you approach max level. Anyone can buy their 100 in a battlepass, I want to wear something that people are actually envious of.

As of the last Flight there wasn’t even a player levelling system at all. Just the battlepass, something players don’t seem to be too happy about - myself included.
A lot of people thought the numbers on the player card was a level - in truth it was just a emblem that had “1” on it. It could be changed through the Waypoint app.
I think Halo Infinite really should have player progression outside of the battlepass and challenges. Getting nothing for your time from just playing seems off to me, I don’t need a carrot on a stick to chase 24/7 but getting nothing for time invested isn’t something I like.
Lets hope they change things from how they are now.

I mean, most people were more upset the bp only went up via challenges, not that there was not another leveling system. Plus, I think we should not really use what was seen in the flight as any real indication of how every system functions as it was apparent certain portions were selected to be tested. I mean, the bp was there to test xp progression with challenges. There was a xp boost system that did not effect the challenges at all and were timed which indicated another way to earn exp

I’m well aware of the things mentioned above. That this is a Flight and isn’t representative of the final product.
XP Boosts did actually affect challenges but the numbers didn’t actually show, in terms of the progress you got, they certainly did.
Like I said, only levelling through challenges is something I found as a issue in the current state of the game. I would love for changes to that system.
