Anyone else experiencing lag in the multiplayer?
I have re-installed the game earlier today to give a try to the season 2, but all my games are lagging
I have a decent internet speed (around 90ms) and i have no problem whatsoever when playing any other large multiplayer games (bf, warzone, etc.). I was experiencing some lag later in season 1 before quitting but it was never that overwhelming (have not got any problem with MCC so far)

Yes, every game so far in season 2, ping says 27ms but i know thats a lie. I have 1G internet and every other MP game i play works fine.
Playing a game today I was rubberbanding all over the place, it was bad. Connection issues seem to be getting worse. I just turned off the game. I have fiber GB up and down, and my latency when testing the Xbox connection is 27 ms.
i start to see a pattern here 
The consistent lag in Halo Infinite and for me only Halo Infinite, it’s a let-down. You know, it’s not 2006, networks are much more stable now, why is this game having this type of problem??? As I have said, if it were my connection the network problem would be repeatable when playing other games or other tasks and it’s not and it’s the same for many people. This type of problem will forever keep the player base low and that should be of concern for 343.
My network performance improved after explicit port forwarding to my xbox to improve NAT.
Did not try that yet, i might give it a shot

I just wanna consistently enjoy the game. Its so painful playing these matches that just barely allow me to control my spartan
I know right? I un-installed the game back in February and decided to wait few months only to be greeted by even more problems! I guess im gonna have to wait until Season 3 in November
Super late to this post. But yeah, I’ve had nothing but furious rubber-banding since Season 2 dropped, while in every other game my connection is just fine.
I’ve seen enough forum evidence that I’m sure it’s nothing to do with my PC or network, but just the game or servers going through a little episode.
At this rate the only way we can “fix it” is to report the bug through proper means as a group. SO EVERYONE WITH LAG GET TO REPORTING or the devs might not know it’s a real issue.
The studio is very well aware of the networking problems (server lag and desynch), the resources to fix the problem have been spread to something else (unknown what exactly). The problem is basically not a priority for the studio and as the game have been released since the past 9 months and they still did not fix it, it will probably not be fixed until 2023-2024 and might very well never be fixed. Chances are the lag will probably increase with the new seasons to come

Almost everyone is. The good news is that they finally seemed to have managed to reproduced the Network issues in internal testing conditions, so this means that it is still gonna get fixed, one day.
