Let me explain myself.
The free to play multiplayers are the representation of this: you play a part of the multiplayer of this games (Modern warfare), if you want to see the full experience you have to buy this game, because we like money.
Most of the free 2 play multiplayers have some microtransactions, no matter if it is cosmetic or pay 2 win. In the last news about Halo Infinite post they told us that the Halo Infinite multiplayer would had no microtransactions involved, but they don´t specified a lot. If they don´t put microtransactions to the game, that would be a big loss to the company now adays (if we were in like the 2000s, the microtransactions would be wierd).
They never talked about the battle pass, the last games made by 343 industries had had a battle pass, which are brought in 2 ways: you pay for unlock this pass, and you have to grind a lot of xp to finish it; or you can give us your money in order to you to complete this once and for all. And the other way is: you don´t pay for anything of the battle pass, but you have to give your soul in order to finish this, the time of play and popularity always benefits a videogame company.
Here´s something in common: all of these are cosmetic things that. 343 has told us that there would be a much higher customization than in Halo Reach, but, at what cost? May be the most cool things of the customization would be blocked because you need to buy a battle pass.
But, if you want to have this (save my words), you will need to buy the game that includes you the battle pass. That would be very awfull, a bad way to remove money from the player.
Before you kill me on the comments, I want to say that I love Halo, I´m very excited about Halo Infinite and I would love to see it have a success, man; no one on this community wants that Halo to be death. But I wish that 343 listen´s the community and that please, they dont put cosmetic microtransactions, just that could ruin a lot the greatness of the gameplay.
But what do you think about this? Should 343 put microtransactions? Or they should allow a open character customization for all?
