Issues:
-Melee reload melee combo is broken and absolutely needs to go…
Audio sounds are a bit wonky.
-Motion tracker seems a bit unreliable.
The spawning is atrociously bad… there’s no sides on most maps, just spawn wherever and get spawn killed or have someone spawn behind you and kill you… definitely needs fixing.
-I feel as tho the melee is op (like most halos) and with the coming of a new gen, it should be reworked.
-BIGGEST COMPLAINT: The sensitivity is slower than the loading time on my original Xbox One. In other words, it needs to be sped up by triple… I play a lot of Apex, the sensitivity and customization of controls is insanely awesome! Halo having had 6 years of development should be able to rival, but the fact that the pioneer of fps shooters doesn’t have any ALC settings is a huge letdown… it is infact ignorant to players who have specific aiming needs. Apex has the best ALC settings I’ve seen inna game, so if halo Infinite cant bring that to the table then this longtime standing halo fan ends with the release.
The sensitivity about sits is so slow i just cant… not to mention there’s a ramp up delay before top speed is reached which drives me mad…
The lack of ranking too is just sad 343… You guys seriously have the worst heads on yours shoulders…
Reach was a perfect progression system hands down. No CR 100 track… recruit to sarge to reclaimer all while unlocking things with rank… it made ya wanna push to get that armour you’ve been eyeing… JUST BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE OTHER GAME DOES A BATTLE PASS DOESN’T MEAN YOU DO TO FFS LIKE THIS ISN’T A BR GAME ITS HALO!! BE HALO! HALO FANS WANT A HALO GAME NOT OTHER GAMES MASHED UP INTO OUR HALO GAME!!!
The battle rifle is trash too and the commando is op.
-every time i die it makes a blowing up sound and glow explosion. Fix that its annoying and unnecessary. Its hard to tell what killed me when every death sounds like a fuel rod cannon…
-the climbing is pretty bad… no real improvement from halo 5. And the animation and speed and height seem weak… im a armoured spartan who can fall from space but i cant climb a wall a little bit higher than me…
-no assassination?? Or do we have ti unlock those too…
The sniper feels weird… bring back halo 4 style.
-The ghost is op, hard to jack, and impossible to kill… i agree that vehicles were too easy to kill in older halos but now its too hard and too easy to get side splattered…
-grapple feels too linear… (maybe im too used to Apex’s pathfinder)
-The settings are too cluttered and aren’t easy to navigate.
-WHY CANT I CUSTOMIZE MY CHARACTER IN A LOBBY??? WHY DO I HAVE TO BACKOUT TO MENU?? WHO DECIDED THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!!
The good:
-Graphics are nice, not overly impressive but better than the joke of halo 5s graphics.
-The armour is beautiful, has that legendary Reach looks and feels.
The AR isn’t garbage anymore which is nice.
sprint is good
-The slides are nice, they could be tuned a bit better tho.
Conclusion:
The problem is 343 cant come up with their own ideas that are good… This feels like a mash of halo with old call of duty maps and gameplay, with the halo signature… They didn’t do anything new at least with this beta test…
Sure they changed some things but they didn’t reinvent themselves… They’re behind in the times and after 6 years i had high expectations ti which have not been met with satisfaction.
I cant get a kill without someone popping up behind me. This means the maps are simply too small… They would fit well be it Halo 3 or prior, but with unlimited sprint, climbing and all that, these maps are too puny and impractical for the style halo wants to be…
No ALC settings is a bust for me.
Im under the impression there’s people working at 343 who are tasked with sabotage… how did Bungie do so much right and 343 keeps falling short of the bar?
It is my hopes these issues are addressed, the way it sits this game is a huge letdown.
