Hey everyone just wanted to let Treyarch, I mean Activision, I mean 343i know that I really enjoyed the flight. Playing as a console jockey and getting instablasted by PC sweats is delightful and really makes it a joy to reenter matchmaking. Battle passes are such an interesting novelty, and I can’t wait to shell out hundreds of dollars a year to buy HaloCredz so I can get the midnight black armor, and pop a skull and crossbones logo on my tag. The toxic atmosphere was enlivening, and getting called trash by twitchers makes my self-esteem rocket upwards. CQC constantly without any long range engagements gets me going, and you should add commando perk so I can knife I mean assassinate from longer distances.

Are y’all glad Halo is just another COD clone? I hate this entire genre now. Watch as BF2042 does this same junk and I have no refuge from Battle Passes, sweats, and these awful tiny maps.
I think you’ll be better off with actual constructive feedback.
Mentioning how you’d like things to change and provide alternate solutions compared to how they are currently instead of just dissing everything you don’t like.

You’re more than welcome to enjoy MCC and it’s free updates
Maybe not as enthusiastically but I feel you man. In general it does feel like Halo Infinite is leaned more toward competitive play for some reason. Didn’t really have a fun round of PVP, even when I won.

This post is a waste of time honestly. If you want the game to change, be constructive. If you don’t care, go do something else with your time. This post achieves nothing.
You guys are jumping all over the OP here, but it may be true that in every criticism there’s a grain of truth.
I played the game this weekend and as far as I’m concerned the core gameplay is super. But… I do see an effort here to make the game too sweaty. No vehicles on maps, and the maps are pretty much bare arenas so I’m supposed to think they’re somehow more competitive.
Average players, and kids, need to be able to have fun in this game for it to succeed. You can tell me I don’t belong here like you told the OP, But with five kids, I’m the exact dude 343 needs to convince to spend money on this game, or more importantly they’ve got to make my kids want to spend money on it.
Look at Fortnite and how successful that turd is. But it’s fun, and the kids eat it up, and that’s the exact audience 343 is trying to appeal to with a free to play multiplayer. When I think about the game I just played this weekend I really wonder if it can compete in that market.
Look 343, if you let a kid splatter another player with a banshee, you may have a hit here. Your goal should be capturing young hearts and imaginations. If it’s all going to be about making guys arguing about bullet magnetism and all that hardcore stuff happy, I wish you luck.
Take care of the fun. The competitive players will be ok.

First off I think battle pass actually makes sense to some extent. Since the game needs to have a way to make profit I would much rather have a battle pass over Halo 5’s req point system. While paying money to have access to the colors is upsetting at least your not paying money to buy reqs in warzone to help win the game. As to the toxic atmosphere, ever game has it, it inevitable, but I feel like Halo’s community is significantly less toxic than those in other games.

Hey! glad to hear you had fun in the flight. I hear you and I agree about reaching the future generations.
I’m hoping the actual game won’t be so sweaty. People playing in the previews were really going at it. However, I think there is plenty of fun to be had in this game. The medal system is proof enough that you can get rewarded for messing around and not just downing a player with a little effort. I point to stuff like; pancake, ninja, return to sender.
We’re missing vehicles outside of Behemoth but I’m sure this weekend BTB will give us more vehicle action.
Overall I think this game excelled at being big dumb fun for me. I’m looking to that to be taken to the next level in the near future!
