Halo Infinite MMO mode

What do you think about an MMO mode for Infinite?

It could be set on a absolutely colossal map featuring ground, air, space, and water combat all happening at the same time with thousands of players.

The world contains its own set of stories and mysteries. The environment itself presents a challenge and can change in real time depending on player actions. Wild life and dynamic weather play a major role during gameplay. For example, rain can cause the ground to become muddy and hard to drive on which could force players to take other, more dangerous routes or they could wait it out.

Military logistics will exist as a gameplay mechanic so the outcome of battles will not be determined purely by PvP.

The overall gameplay would be structured like how in universe factions like the UNSC would be structured. It isn’t just go out on the map and shoot. You’ll have commanding officers whether they be A.I or actual players that relay commands and oversee entire operations all over the map in order to form effective attacks.

That sounds ambitious. A little too ambitious.

Cool, but not very realistic as a side mode for a game.

As its own game entirely? Yes, all my yes, it could be done and it could be so cool. Especially if you create non-UNSC characters like Swords of Sanghelios, Banished, maybe even Promethean.

To really make this concept work well I am sure it would have to be it’s own stand alone game. This makes me think of Arma as it is more of a military simulator game than a standard FPS. It would play very well as an invasion type of game but the battles would not be like a quick multiplayer match that is typical with Halo and other FPS games.
