Aside from the grapple hook, sprint and slide… Add in man cannons to some maps, teleporters to some maps, grav lifts to some maps. It’s the cherry on top, I promise.
From what we’ve the BTB map in the MP trailer has man cannons.
I think bazaar should at least have one turret or something.
1st there were only 3 so let’s hold off judgements. 2nd I thought they kind of got back to old school of having choke points with places worth defending and holding versus 4 and 5s maps that were just run and gun with no purpose.
Would depend on the map, we’ve already seen some man cannons so I think your wish has already been granted.
The maps we experienced are mainly 4v4 based and I’m sure they’ll have that kinda stuff in BTB, just as we have seen already.
I do feel like use of the man cannon will be underscored with the grapple hook in play, teleporters and grav lifts would be good additions too some of the maps though.

Also grenade jumping, gravity hammer jumping, jumping on other people’s heads(turn player collision on) to get to locations, etc. love those physics
The maps so far are pretty standard for 4v4 most maps like that in halo don’t have any mobility items and if they do it’s by desgin and not to speed things up
I thought all 3 maps played fast with the different jumps and clambers you can use. The map creates the mobility more than anything else and that’s how it should be.

Disagree. These were clearly maps made with competitive in mind. Why they were so boring imo.

properly placed grav lifts are what made maps like construct and guardian fun for me, and properly placed teleporters are what make cold storage and chiron TL-34 fun for me.
with them back i feel like they could stretch their legs even more, but i have a feeling well only see them in forged maps.
