It doesn’t. It looks like a cartoon, the art style has drifted even further away from the original designs, the aliens look even MORE generic now (the Brutes just look like big humans with fangs at this point) because 343i has a art team that doesn’t understand Halo’s aesthetics and why they become so iconic during the Bungie era. The gimmicky gameplay with the grappling hook and including sprint when EVERYONE hated it…343i continues to force Halo to chase after Call of Duty and once again proves they have NEVER had any idea of what to do with the Halo franchise except tarnish the legacy of what had once been the most iconic franchise in gaming.
I don’t think it hyped me up any more than I already am, just maybe a little disappointment that no solid release dates or anything.
