I know this may be controversial but I have a mixed opinion on halo infinite so far as the gameplay I will go point by point as to why I think halo infinite might be bad (I hope I am wrong) 1. The new weapons in the gameplay we can see another human weapon not the magnum that’s rate of fire is unfamiliar and looks more like something out of cod.
2. The magnum the magnum looks more like something out of cod as well and closer to the halo 2 pistol if anything.
3.The new banished weapons the new weapons the banished have could make combat on higher difficulties harder, and more of an uphill battle as the rate of fire is high however for the player the main obstacle is the cooldown.
4. Where is Cortana? In the interviews by halo channels there was no mention of Cortana’s role in the story which I fell would invalidate halo 5.
5. Where is the flood? This is just my opinion but I think without the flood in this story it would kill off a lot of theories as to the end game of the flood and make the story much more bland. As well as who doesn’t want the flood in this halo game?
6.The grapple hook is basically the armor abilities but scaled down. In halo 5 some of the complaints were on advanced movement yet it this it is just toned down this could make multiplayer somewhat similar and gameplay to halo 5 and make the campaign more like halo 4 in gameplay as well
7.Where is the arbiter? No questions have been asked on this but I feel the emotion of the story will not be there without the arbiter.
8. Pay2win microtransactions I know this one has not been confirmed but it is very much a possibility Microsoft is trying to cash out as much as possible on halo since odst and I would hate a multiplayer with req packs like halo 5.
