I just watched a recording of the live stream about the making of the halo infinite trailer. The reverberating theme I get is that 343 wants us to form our own questions and also our own answers. We all have questions after halo 5. But the comunities speculation is far from answered. How about you actually give us some answers 343? You are the writers. I’m not looking to write a good story for halo 6. I would rather follow and play a good story. I guess my point is I’m frustrated by 343s cop out answer. 343 take halo by the reigns and lead us, don’t take the vague easy way out. Again…
Ever consider that maybe they’re saving that sort of info for the actual game?
You want them to just publish the story now? What point would there be to put it in the game, at that point?
What ever story they have right now can be comepletly different from the story at launch. If they were to answer story details you’ll be upset when those details had to be cut from the game and already be informed on key spoilers. My answer; just wait like the rest of us. The game will come out when its released and by then you will have the game yourself to answer all your questions.

I couldn’t agree more. Although I really want more on the game, the longer I wait for stuff the more excited I get. When we got the first thing since e3 in the stream, my excitement was through the roof (even though it wasn’t even much shown).
I’m sure they’ll keep dripping information out as 2019 progresses.
Actually one of the things I miss most from “classic” halo is mystery. It was so much fun exploring Forerunner structures and seeing what they were capable of without knowing much about them.
So for me, adding more mystery into the franchise would be fantastic
Yeah 343, I demand to know Infinite’s storyline in complete detail with transcripts and also an exclusive look at the new Master Chief.

Or maybe my point is that if they wanted to display the engine, great, but does it really make sense to urge the comunity to come up with thier own story? Sounds like a way to mislead with advertising while being able to easily say “we as a studio never said that”. But I guess everyone that responded must have really enjoyed halo 5s advertising campaign and all the truth it contained…
Mislead with advertising from community stories and theories? Your point doesn’t really make sense to me and I’m not sure how H5 is related to that. I think 343 is gonna put out ads based on what they feel tells the story no matter what is already out there with fan speculation. Also, they’ll release more info when the game is closer to debuting. It could still be a couple years away for all we know.
