I havent heard anyone say anything about whether there will be a legendary edition of halo infinite. I know the game is still kinda far off but how much do you guys think the legendary would be priced at?
I think there might be a metal earth statue of whatever the main image of Infinite will be. Along with that there will probably be some Mattel models of some vehicles or characters, and maybe some lore cookies for people to read. I also have no doubt that there will be some digital content codes too.
If it’s priced like previous legendary versions I’d say around $200 give or take
It would need to be something truly Legendary. Given that the Halo 5: Guardians Legendary Edition had units on clearance over a year after it’s released, I think it’s time that things are kicked up a notch. Halo Infinite Legendary Edition should truly be a “pre-order only” version of the game and come with a high end collectible(s) to justify a higher price tag. I’m thinking something like a Sideshow Collectible quality statue or bust along with a steelcase for the game, a really nice print with signatures from everyone at 343 Industries, and exclusive in-game armor and emblem/nameplate that ONLY those who pre-order the Legendary Edition will receive.

A Play arts kai/Hot toys Chief figure would be awesome!! And very expensive XD
Since it will be a launch title, I’m hoping to see a Halo themed console which would put the price above 5 or 6 hundred.

Expensive but in the same realm as Sideshow Collectibles. Something that would be expensive and very limited.
Ultra limited editions of games have become so overdone in the past decade that I’d really rather see them go for something a lot simpler than Halo 3, Reach, and 5 did. Also, it was pretty lame for 343i to basically make the LE Halo 4 Xbox 360 into that game’s “Legendary Edition”.
I can only speak for myself, but I’d rather see something different than another PVC shelf warmer this time around.
As far as details, though? Expect announcements at or around E3 2020.
