I don’t know about you guys, but I was the kid on Halo 3 trying to get every medal in the game unlocked. Remember when bungie had your stats when you logged in on their website? It also helped you keep track of your to-do’s when trying to unlock that sweet RECON armor!? Those were the good ole days! Well, I feel like now 343i has been doing a fantastic job with Halo since the takeover, and have been listening to our feedback as Halo fans and gamers. I love Halo Waypoint, which is somewhat similar to how it was on bungie.net however, I think they could design this site a lot better and add in a medal tracker, stats, leaderboard, etc with the launch for Halo Infinite! With their talent in the studio, I think they can make it a bigger deal to sign into Halo Waypoint to see yours, your friends, the whole Halo community’s stats don’t you? I’ve always been the “collector” type. I want to unlock 100% of Halo Infinite. I think they could do more with Halo Waypoint and the stats for Halo Infinite is all I’m saying. Thoughts?
I’d be down for this, even if I probably wouldn’t be good at getting much done with it myself.
I agree although I feel lousy promoting this because I don’t have any experience with creating a UI or UX, so it doesn’t make sense for me to suggest anything. I’m basically just saying I like the idea, but I can’t really contribute to the effort to implement it.
I was too young to remember all of the content of bungie.net, but what I remember was a lot of info about your gameplay/performace, etc. I really wish they’d add heatmaps!!
The stat tracking for the MCC on here is pretty lack luster. My emblem isn’t even displayed properly because I’m using the one of the ones that was added post launch so Waypoint doesn’t even recognize it. I want to see the medal chest, game history details, breakdown of stats per map, ranked playlist details, etc. I want to view so much more to get a better idea of where I can improve.
