New footage of Halo Infinte in Xbox Series X reveal ?
Xbox Series X will launch with Halo Infinite and Hellblade 2 holiday 2020
Not sure if what we saw of Halo in the Series X reveal was rendered or in-engine, if anyone knows for sure please share! Either way, though, it’s not a significant reveal for Infinite, more just like another bunch of fodder for the hype snowball.
What would be really interesting is if they were to make a move like using Infinite as a pack-in for Scarlett–er, Series X (I’ll be making that mistake many more times in the next year). I don’t think it’s especially likely but it would have the potential to be a major move. Pack-ins feel like a bit of an antiquated concept at this point, and it’d be a loss-leader strategy to pack Infinite in with every Series X at launch (No way could they make any worthwhile profit on selling that bundle at $500, and I don’t think most people are willing to pay more than $500 for a new console), but it could be a major value proposition to the consumer and a great way to get Infinite and Series X off the ground in style.
Just the sort of boldness that makes people do a double take on Microsoft. To clarify, I don’t think this will happen. I also didn’t think they’d be unveiling the design and marketing name for Scarlett yesterday at the game awards, though. And the more I think about that, the smarter and bolder it comes across to me.

Honestly I love pack-ins. Consoles are always sold at a loss anyways, so pack-ins just help early adoption rates and make the console look like a better value.
That said, I’m assuming Microsoft will bundle 1-3 months of Game Pass Ultimate with the console so that even if you don’t buy a game, you’ll have tons of games to play. Halo Infinite, maybe Hellblade II (if its a launch game) and maybe a couple other launch titles from third party studios will be featured so you have a good mix of older titles and also the newest of the new.
They should make a special Scarlett red version with Infinite bundled in, in a lime green bow. The perfect gift and it’s already a box.
Yeah I would like to know too if that footage was in game or just CGI. I’m a little surprised that they unveiled the name before E3 but it’s not a big deal. I’m very indifferent on the series x name. I know PS take some slack for their unoriginal names but to me there’s something to be said for simplicity (ps1, ps2 etc)
As far as console I like the look of it what they showed and they will definitely be a system bundle with Halo Infinite. I’m sure it will be a different color as well. My guess is they will have just the one system at launch and Xbox one x will become the other cheaper model and it will get a permanent reduced price too, obviously lol
I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the final specs of the system but again I don’t expect to see any more Halo footage until E3.

Rather than a pack-in I’d prefer a special edition Infinite console

I think it’s very likely they’ll have a special event for the Series X like they did for Xbone back in 2013.

I guess to talk more about the system then e3 sole focus is on games like halo infinite I already started saving up for the console and infinite

That’s possible, I think it would be good too, I already have a ton of questions about Series X that I cannot find answers to.
I can say it is halo infinite because I zoomed in and it it a mark gen 3 armor and the BR looks like halo reach just like from E3 trailer

I’m so pumped for halo infinite and xbox series x to be released but could you guys possibly make the release feel more like a halo and xbox series x bundle by making the console have halo art on the console and as well as the controller please ik alot of people feel the same way I garintee your new console and game will profit alot from a limited edition halo console please consider doing it

You cannot guarantee that. I’m excited for Series X, but I’m very much on the fence with Halo Infinite. I’m not buying it day one as things stand. Also, I know many players that are Xbox fans but don’t play Halo, they’re Gear heads or CoD fans, Destiny players or Forza guys and gals. I’m not sure how they’ll release the two. I imagine the Halo consoles will come, as will a Gears console etc. Day one ? Not too sure. Perhaps they’ll have a few versions, Halo Infinite bundle and stand alone console.

Yea I hope they have a bundle even if its just a regular series x with halo infinite

I can’t guarantee it either. I’ve been playing Halo since CE (yeah I’m older lol) and I own limited edition games, special edition systems and so on. I didn’t buy the Halo 5 Xbox console as I wasn’t big on it and the price was just too much. As of now, I have no idea if Halo infinite is a day 1 buy. Heck, I don’t even know if it’s worth buying the new Xbox system even, now that all Xbox games are going to PC. No more exclusives right…and PC has games that are only on PC so… Yeah, I might just sink that money into my PC instead and I’ve ALWAYS been a console guy so that’s saying something. I think a lot of people feel the way I do as well but now I can use a console controller on PC, which was my biggest issue before as I’m not big on M/KB. I really think Xbox console gamers are getting the short end of the stick with this deal, but I digress here.
I’ll know more after E3 if Halo infinite (any version) is a day one buy. If get it for console or PC is yet to be determined. Oh I also need to know if the PC version can play with the console version. If there’s an option too or what (which I hope it’s an option) that might also determine what I do.
I just want an Infinite Edition Scarlett (I prefer that name, so yes, I said it), and I’m prepared to drop around 600 fresh/ crisp Georgie’s on it!

Ditto. I’ve never had a Halo-themed console before so if they do that with Infinite I’m so getting it. I might get it again for the PC later on down the road too. (So nice, I bought it twice?)
Unless it’s a Play Anywhere thing, in which case I’m good either way

Oh I have faith! I believe it will bring it back to the forefront of FPS games!!! Oh man I’ve bought so many different Xboxes for Halo 
… I have none of the Halo editions still, as I sold them like an idiot 
… When I was young, I’d blow my money on anything Halo oriented, as it’s the only game I play, I’m all OCD like that lol… Now days, as with the Scarlett announcement, I save up pocket money, as to be able to purchase it, because, you know, kids, and adulting lol… Therefore, the thought of having one again makes me very happy, to say the least!!

I still have my collectors cases for Halo 2, 3, and 4 as well as the box for 5 (and the John/Locke statue). Some of the discs are missing, but I still have the cases at least :>
If Infinite gets a special console, it shall be mine and I shall have it D:<
