Halo Infinite Laso save from the continue button

Hey does anyone know if loading from clicking the continue button ruins your laso run as you load in with no skulls would like to know this before I try and finish the other half of the game.

Yeah you have to make sure the skulls are active when you are playing the story missions. You’ll know it’s not working as Xbox has a tracker on the achievement showing progress which moves up after each mission.

Load game instead of continue. There have been reports of skulls deactivating sometimes if you just continue

Can happily say my progress was unaffected and I got the achievement.

Yes, saving checkpoints became the biggest pain as you need to be at full shields to get checkpoint saves so I had moments that I got sent back 25-40 mins back it was pretty brutal. Not as bad as halo 2 tho.

I was wondering if anyone had lost their progression on the achievements tracker now? I just noticed mine still says 17% and I just started the spires. I hope I didn’t break the game. LASO Difficulty is still running but I had to Load into my game a couple separate occasions.

I made a thread about this very problem yesterday. Someone also pointed out you need to load from save file, not continue. So if you’re stuck at progress x%, then I’d hedge your loss and start over.

great so i’m over half way done and no clue if i’ll get the achievement bc i loaded in and immediately quick traveled before i realized my skulls weren’t on. didn’t do any missions but i was at on one i loaded in. and since achievements don’t track i won’t know til i beat it, great job 343 :raised_hands::raised_hands:

got the achievement. so even if it saves a checkpoint after your skulls get turned off it is still possible to get it to pop.

Hey bro I need your help: this bug just happened to me. I accidentally pressed “continue” but immediately realized and quit the campaign. I loaded the file and it showed all skulls on. Do you think if I continue it will progress with no problems?
