Just beat Halo infinite on LASO and was disappointed to see I don’t even get a reward for it. Not even a set of armor. Dose anyone else think this is trash? Do you think they will fix this?

I don’t think we were ever going to get anything besides an achievement.

Based on the basis that it’s completely optional to play any of the Halo campaign on LASO, the existence of this difficulty isn’t that obvious to the player in contrast to the standard difficulties Easy, Normal, Heroic and Legendary, it shouldn’t really come as a surprise to the player if there isn’t a reward associated with completing the campaign on LASO.
On the other hand, Halo Infinite do at this state only have one reward for completing the campaign LASO in the form of a Xbox achievement.
You get an achievement for it like the MCC games.
Locking rewards behind it would prevent 99% of players ever getting them though, LASO is hard (even though this is easier than previous iterations due to bandana skull).
At least it would be earnable and not behind a paywall.

Why does it start you at beginning of level after leaving game?
checkpoints are very hit and miss on laso - you need full shields to be regularly getting them I think. I can get sent back quite far if I’m not replenishing my shields regularly.
I mean, in MCC all you got was a nameplate with skulls and an achievement, so I don’t see why they would reward us with armor for completing it.
