Not counting 2 as when you see them both, they are fighting eachother. But in the other games you fight elites or you fight Brutes. And games with both never have them interact with only Halo 2 bringvthe outluer, but theyvare fighting eachotger.
Infinite is tge only nain gane wherecfightvttem at the same time
I think Reach actually did it first. You see Brutes starting around New Alexandria, and they show up in different groups until the end. Not sure how many times they show up in a squad together, but that also makes sense given their attitudes. Maybe in firefight they are better teammates lol.
I wish there were more Hunters in Infinite, maybe some Locusts as heavy vehicles if they didn’t want to use Scarabs too early. Armored tanks make the gunfights more tense and fun.
It’s true! I guess it shows how the Banished forces differ from the Covenant, being able to put aside their differences (to some extent). I’m sure there’s still some mutual dislike or enmity, but they actually work together.
I don’t believe they ever show up together in Reach, but there is one occasion where you can have this occur. It’s on the mission The Package, during the lab defence section. The enemies come in waves, and unless I’m mistaken, the Brutes show up first, right? Since you don’t need to kill all the enemies for the next wave to start, if you leave one or two Brutes alive when the Elites start to come in, you’ll have them both present at once! The slightly tricky part is the Brutes need to survive Noble Team until the Elites arrive.
I think we saw them a pretty good amount. And the Hunters were the original boss fights until people found the one-shot loophole, then the melee-sidestep loophole.
Its only by Infinite did they become actually bloodthirsty Warmongers. Halo 5 were pretty fearsome too.
