I wanted nothing more than to like this game. After the obvious multiplayer fiasco of lack of overall content, freedom of customization, missing features that were promised, I remembered im usually not a huge fan of multiplayer games so I aas content so sit back and wait for the campaign. Now all I can say is… wow. I feel like I was robbed. The campaign was an overall fun experience but my god was it short. I remember finishing my first run through, getting all the collectibles and thinking “thats it?” In the past we payed 60$ for a full campaign and multiplayer experience with built in customization and progression system. Now they make an incredibly monetized multiplayer experience for “free” while releasing a maybe 15 hour campaign for 60$ with literally nothing in terms of cosmetics except like 3 skins? I mean what did we really get for the 60$ campaign?? I feel like i paid full price plus the battle pass for half of a game. I might be alone on this but 343 really needs to step up and stop ignoring people that paid a full price for a game.
I’m glad your posting this. More people should share their experiences because I know your not alone in this feeling.
People will come in here and say free to play is good.
They will say ohhh don’t worry about it fixes and changes are coming.
They will also whine and complain that it’s all negativity.
A lot of people have rose tinted glasses on right now. A good campagin isn’t enough for a Halo game. Good gunplay isn’t enough.
The ultimate counter to “But its Free to Play” is: It is half a pie, I got it for free, I paid for the rest of it.
aka I paid for half a product as if it were the whole product.
They’re charging half the price of a full product for 3 multiplayer skins…
Your not wrong, for me the campaigns story was the most disappointing, even 5 had a full story start to finish, yea people didn’t really like it but it was a full story. All infinite does is say forget everything from the past 5 games + books and says none of those stories mean anything anymore
We’ll be better off if we let the game die and send a strong message to 343 that this won’t fly anymore. The game looks good and the base mechanics are pretty nice but it’s a total mess other than that. I’m happy to reward actual content on a game that plays really well. Halo Infinite isn’t that game right now.
