I use a 2070 Super and a ryzen 9, and the game will keep fluctuating, making it extremely unpleasant to play. Anyone else have the same problem?
Game is defs very unplayable for me, even on all low settings, unless I cap the framerate to 50-60, dowscale the game resolution by 60% and lower the FoV to 90 and no higher… it stopped the really choppy stuttering and minor freezing issues but it still feels very bad netcode wise too… it could very well be my CPU throttling my performance considering my GPU was barely breaking a sweat running the game, but damn I didn’t expect it to be this unoptimized. Hopefully this Flight is a much older build and the one closer to release will at least be stable at 60 FPS…
I have an issue with screen tearing in the UI and my screen, where it looks tv cracks. The zoom effects on the spartan seem to be missing too and skip right to the Spartan. Longer load times into the game and in to . It was working fine when I started it up yesterday and earlier today.
But then my game crashed, and my AMD drivers failed and both my screens went black. I had to reinstall the drivers to get it working again. And I’m having the same issues that I listed above again like I did the last flight.
Back then I had a Ryzen 5 3600x with a 5700XT on B450 Tomahawk Max MB.
I upgraded in the last couple months. Now I have a Ryzen 9 3900X with a 6700XT on my same motherboard.
I might end up getting Infinite on my Series S and X over PC my pc is not going to like it.
I would say submit tickets on the Halo Support site. Therefore 343 becomes aware of these issues. Mine however are much more annoying. All the screen tearing and cracks in the UI really bothers me the most.

Yeah, luckily I bought a series s. I can just plug in my keyboard and mouse, not sure if it will be the same. It’s honestly sad though, I was looking for a game to replace valorant on my pc.

I do believe 343 will fix the issues. Hopefully, but its a matter of being loud and showing them in the support site. I right now am uploading my recent gameplay to show them after I take some images and things from that gameplay and show here what the problem is…
Yeah I got an Series S right now and getting a Series X very soon (on the way) I was planning on upgrading my motherboard too. I hope my PC isn’t damaged though, especially if my new kitten was involved in it…
I’ve got an Intel 5960x (intels 8 core for 2014) and a 3070.
On 1080p windowed at high, the game is reporting around 70-110 fps.
The game lacks aspect resolution support on ultra wides, so I’m playing it 16:9 in windowed mode.
I got a reasonably old PC that still surprises me how well I can play some new games. Infinite is the first new game in a while that I haven’t been able to play on maximum settings, but I can at least play on ‘High’ pretty damn smoothly.
Otherwise pretty much all of my issues so far have for some reason been in the menus themselves rather than gameplay. Game for some reason had a heart attack whenever I tried changing some keybinds.
I’d both hope and assume that’s part of the testing, performance reports to fix and whatnot.
