I dont know who will actually read this. As a long time Halo fan much like you all, playing Halo is literally the best experience ever. I’ve had the best memories and made the most of the Halo experience as many other players. I completely believe that Halo Infinite’s core, what makes the game good, is pretty solid. Its the add-ons that we as the community want to see be better because we know it can be.
For example, this season is based on the fall of Reach, right? We want the Reach armor to not be behind a pay-wall, and if it is, its gotta be the whole set and not just 1 attachment to one helmet for one armor core. I personally think that the $20 “loot box” should be a 1 time either monthly or even season-long loot box and not a weekly purchase. I wanna see Aunti Dot be an AI companion. I wanna have inclement weather or pestilence or hearts be an add-on to my Spartan’s shoulders and head. What about a skin for the Ghost that is shaded like the Revenant? How about bringing back “Blood Gulch” or “Hemmorhage” or even “Paradiso” to BTB? Give nostalgic and worthy callbacks to Reach. A warthog skin that is shaded black that has “property of Sword Base” on the side. Anything that brings back the Halo Reach vibe. What is on the battle pass needs to be improved on with literally the simplest of references to prior games. If you’re gonna do Reach-themed things, then make sure its Reach-themed.
I love the game. Obviously things can be improved on like the servers with BTB, cheating, and rank progression. 343, you did great. Good job on Halo Infinite. Campaign is A+, and I can’t wait to see what you add on with the Lore. Hopefully Red Team will meet up with Chief? The point is that, you, 343, did a great job. We know Halo is the best, and we want you to show us that you as well think Halo is the best game/story out there as well. You can singlehandedly bring the community back together again with what you have here.
