Halo was an xbox game for 15 years. Don’t you can walk all over controller players because you got a high k/d ratio.
That means jack -Yoink!- to me. I should be able to have the same experience on both inputs and so far that’s not happening. They should both feel good to use. I couldn’t care less about how much aim assist they have.
Lol ive played mcc dumb nut and still clapped cheeks of controller players. The fact that ur proud of controller aim is just laughable. Imagine thinking an op bot to help u aim is called being good at the game. Yeah right

You have an issue with respecting other players. It shouldn’t matter what input other people use. They’ve been playing the game on console ever since it came out. Longer than pc players have.
They’re just as skilled as you are. Your opinion can be criticized. It’s not a shield. Which also tells me you really aren’t as commited to your ideology as you think. Yes people can state their opinions but they can be criticized too. There is no exception.

U should at least learn to read what the thread is meant to be. This is a thread where controller players on pc have too much aim assist. I do not care for controllers on console. They have a frame cap which was in previous halo titles. A frame cap makes aim assist feel janky. Understand that. Yes criticism can be given but not in the way this thread has shown it. If u want to give criticism say why rather than invalidating it immediately because of pure ego. Ive played on controller originally. What makes u think when i went up against mnk players at the time of halo mcc pc ports. I found it too easy… Now the inverse is for me. U literally have to put a lot of work to take one opponent out on mnk as opposed to pc controller.

There is thats what xqc was using on his video. Ive used it too and there is a strong presence of aim assist. Ur misunderstanding between no red reticle on pc to no aim adsist… This is exactly the egoism of controller players i was talking about
I just looked that up earlier today and there are multiple articles confirming the pc edition of halo infinite does not have aim assist built in at any capacity.

No theres a bug that is causing that issue. Thats the start screen bug. Sometimes it doesnt recognise ur controller input and causes it to overlay aim assist values of mnk, which is none, on controller.
Even then. It’s the same aim assist console has. What is the big deal? Why are we moving towards trying to remove or nerf aim assist for an input that needs it to function? That’s like covering the sensor on a mouse or removing the A from the ASDW keys.
yeah their values are the same but the frame rate greatly affects how the aim assist feels. If ur playing on the first xbox, u will experience a very low end and janky feeling experience. Hop on the xbox one series x, it feels normal because ur on 120 or 60 fps, depending on ur output selection. Hop on PC, u can get unlocked frame rates, that will enhance the feeling of aim assist. This was what happened in mcc as well. That is why so many mnk players left because of this. U must realise that console controllers have it rough, which i am aware because i was a console player myself.
Also, never ever talk to an mnk player in the manner u spoke to me. U continue being that way, the mnk community would rather focus on the differences and start -Yoink!- talking you like anyone would. Drop the ego and at least hear them out before invalidating them. I have never ever once invalidated that controller players have it rough either. Most of the controller players here seeing this just starts to talk garbage to inflate their ego. Name calling and being disparaging is just not welcoming. If u get to know the PC community well its very similar to the controller community. Dont disrespect them. Focus on ur similarities and differences. We are all here wanting the same thing. An enjoyable and fair player experience when playing halo. Never came here to -Yoink!- talk but only add a little satire to 343, as the title of this thread implies.
Yeah. I’m well aware of the positives of the pc community. I’m apart of them as well. It’s just both communities have a very different way of humor. I’m sure you’re aware of the counter strike community and their brand of humor?
