It was fun with friends but was horrid for solo play.

Spartan ops had some awesome short videos. The game play was repetitive but it was a neat idea. Surely with the tutorial halo infinte had 343 will do something with your spartan
Eh, my only option was solo and it was the PvE option. It had some story elements going on to enjoy a little bit and aliens to crush, so it was fine for me solo.
Yeah I mean firefight is repetitive too, so I don’t really know how to articulate why Spartan Ops felt repetitive in the wrong ways, but regardless, I enjoyed it way more than bots in infinite. Which I don’t enjoy at all. It’s just like playing MM against… bots? Haha. As opposed to the variation of alien AI that’s always been fun.

No, it is not a “free game” and players like yourself need to stop spreading false info. It’s only f2p MP, period. Everything else is behind a paywall in one form or another.
Even if you bought the campaign through the battle pass that cost money, not even the campaign “is free to play”. Please get your facts straight.
Put your cheese back on the cracker. The reason people call it a free to play game is the multuplayer is free, meaning the game is free with the option of buying the campaign Micro transaction that do not affect gameplay can be in a free to play game. If you play a free to play game and you do not like, don’t buy the micro transactions
It is a great game. Game of the Year. Are there things that need fixed and changes, sure…just like every other game released in the last decade but people aren’t aware that their toxic feedback and threats (ACTUAL threats) are not constructive and are redundent.
I’m with ya on this one. It’s a great game, tbh, i haven’t been this into a Halo game since Reach.
You and i are some of the few content ones.

I play the game like 5 times a week and I’ve not spent a penny. I’m not sure how much more free it can get.

Oh, so you played the campaign for free?
MP is not the entire game so players need to stop with the ignorance because you have a couple of maps that it makes it a "F2p game"

I’m glad you enjoy it, but I played 4 and 5 and enjoyed them more than I have infinite so far. I think I’ll maybe start having fun this time next year when they have more stuff to do.

Nope, I haven’t played campaign. I’m not spending $60 on a campaign experience that only takes ~10hr to complete and doesn’t even have co-op. I’ll wait for the price to drop or co-op gets added. Just like I’ll wait for store prices to drop for the cosmetics.

I paid $1 for 3 months of gamepass. Lol. Ain’t no way I’m paying $60 for this campaign. Prolly not even $30. Call me stingy, but that’s my valuation of it and it’s my money and they have gamepass, so thanks MS for gamepass.

I remember beating Destiny 1, not understanding what happened or cared, and promptly quit.
