Personally I think S3 is the best bet. We’ll get King of the Hill and Last Spartan Standing in S2. Infection in S3 (hopefully along side Forge). And then Certain Affinity’s new game in S4.
Just guessing though.

I agree. Flood likely won’t have shields so it’ll still kill in a single shot, however you have the reload issue.

If, and it’s an if, they need it back - they could easily bring it back just for Infection.

The sidekick doesn’t have a scope like the magnum and it also is an easy spray to kill enemies fast.

My guess is that if they are planning a flood DLC like HW2, they will probably hold the game mode and release it along with the DLC and the good ol shotgun. Considering the unused flood pad mesh in the game files that would be crazy if the infected had some sort of bio-grenades or abilities
Their silence on Infection concerns me greatly
I hope it gets added before or with Forge because it’s a necessary mode to create certain custom games with
I also hope they don’t gimmick the mode like with Flood in Halo 4 because that severely hindered & destroyed the ability to create legacy custom game modes from Reach & Halo 3.

Absolutely. If it can be recreated in custom games or bot matches (to an extent), then there’s no reason why shouldn’t have infection ASAP. I’ll concede that Season 3 would probably be the realistic launch date for this game mode, but it would be better if it was released in the middle of season 2.

The Bulldog will a B~~~h to use in infection thats if the original shotgun we know and love comes back.
The update to FireFight that was just given for Halo MCC is truly a blessing and I’m beyond amazed at it. Time to bring that energy and passion into Halo Infinite with Season 2! Fingers crossed we see Halo Infinite Infection Season 3.

Who knows? Maybe they’re holding for Halloween or something stupid. I saw a video about the game early concept being worked on. The dying players become green team, but everyone has guns. There’s no way to have different teams have different weapons. Might be a leak, might be a custom game, idk. My guess is Halloween.

Edit: Changed it to S2 because 343. That’s why it makes no sense now.
343i should do a fun Halloween event for sure. I like the ingame events that they run.

You know they should add the classic tactical shotgun as part of infection but that’s just my opinion I don’t know if 343 would add more weapons in infinite
