You did have a choice tho. In custom games. When forge grew a lot of people stayed in custom games and played without thruster all the wanted.
Should there have been more or even permanent classic playlist in halo 5? Sure. But it did give you the options to create the custom game yourself.
Your basically agreeing with me on everything I said. This all boils down to Halo 5s launch was bad and Halo infinites launch was worse and neither should be defended but we should also point out what was different without being bias.
Is Halo infinite a good game in general? Sure I guess.
But is it a good Halo game with a good base on it? No. It’s to far removed from any Halo. You can say it toned down on the abilites but if you add up everything together like no collision and outlines with barely any classic weapons it’s REALLY hard to see this as Halo. At least in halo 5 I could at least feel at home with classic weapons. Theres nothing to feel at home with in halo infinite. It all feels so alienated and far different to what Halo actually is
The choice I was referring to was in online multiplayer.
Absolutely Halo 5’s forge and options were great, they added a lot of variety and absolutely there should have been more classic options for online multiplayer. I would even be okay if they added a playlist in Infinite that had Halo 5 abilities because of the variety. I just don’t feel these should be the main way the game is played.
These 2 another huge issue. Whoever decided no player collision was a good thing was out of their mind. Can this be something that can be added back? I think so, and it should.
Outlines, although it’s great for those with disabilities, should always be an option. Of course people would still turn these on to keep an advantage, but I would like the option to turn these off for my personal sake.
People tend to think I am a 343 defender but a lot of issues you guys have I feel the same. I just don’t feel it’s worth getting upset about. Rather if we talk about these things constructively without getting mad at 343, we can see positive change happen.
I think it was stated that they wanted them in the game, but timing/ data showed competitive MP turned them off basically all the time, so they got put on back burner.
That’s another con of how the competitive community has decided these weren’t a priority. I can live without it in multiplayer, but in campaign it feels like such a huge loss
There were classic playlists in halo 5. There should have been a permanent one. Just like a permanent Halo 5 playlist should be in halo infinite
People hated that you were forced to stabilize so they gave you the option to turn it off. It should be the same with the outlines
I may come off as harsh but I do give feedback on what should be changed but one of the problems is that no one is willing to accept it. No one want to pay for skins. No one asked it for it to be free to play but yet we are all trying to come with with ways it’ll work. It will never work. The solution is to go back to the way it was. Paid multiplayer. It would fix so many issues. There wouldn’t need to be a store and they can work on more of the game instead of those stupid “events”
Your assessment of star citizen is moronic at best and a lie at worst. First off EVERY SINGLE THING CAN BE EARNED IN GAME WITHOUT SPENDING MORE THAN A $45 starter package. Second is that THE ENTIRE GAME IS CROWD FUNDED AND WE ARE SPENDING MONEY TO SUPPORT THE GAME BEING MADE. Your asinine comparison only shows that you know literally nothing about CIG & star citizen. I did correct it. But yes I think op is simply lying. I would have the same reaction if someone outright lied about infinite. Does the stores prices suck? Yes! But 343 acknowledged it and said they are making changes. I can accept that and am willing to see what happens and would have the same reaction if someone ignored 343’s acknowledgment of the issue and just lambasted the prices .

like the ternai event past rank 10 will have more armor choices and much less xp boots and challenge swaps
Halo infinite was horrible to me the multiplayer is unplayable for me after 5 years and a 1 year delay on the release Halo infinite to me personally doesn’t seem to be the highest cost videogame ever develop I did enjoy the campaign I’ve played thousands of hours of every Halo until now I had to uninstall infinite I feel let down after playing Halo 5 for 6 years waiting for patches and things to be fixed only to hear we have everyone working on infinite and fixing MMC let me know the game was going to be the best Halo ever then I played it what a disappointment
No they don’t because 343 has not marketed that information to everyone correctly. They are relying on us the fans to get that information out. Which is part of the reason there is a lot of misinformation out there regarding the game. It’s like playing telephone.

Yes, that’s right… 100% FREE cosmetics can be earned just by playing the game.
