Did you like the Halo 5 story? are you one of those who criticize the introduction of the character of Locke or not? Would you like it if there was another cortana on infinite? Guys, I’m too fond of her, but I don’t know how I’d react to having two cortanas at the same time, and do you like Chief’s new armor? I’ve heard a lot of criticism about it, I particularly like it. And I’m really anxious about the day when it comes out infinite.
Sadly no, I really didn’t like the plot of Halo 5, and it didn’t do a good job bringing Locke into the games. No, I really wouldn’t like it if there’s a new Cortana model or if Cortana becomes good again. Her story should’ve ended at the end of Halo 4. I really like his armor, cool how it incorporates bits and elements from across the whole franchise.
Wasn’t the biggest fan of Halo 5, in fact, the only plot I even cared about was the planet of the Elites, Sanghelios. That, and Blue Team, because Blue Team is awesome. However, they were sorely underplayed here as you know, the last of their kind kicking butt across the Galaxy with their brother. I am however, indifferent about the whole Cortana situation. Since I wasn’t really invested in the whole ‘Cortana is evil’ plot Halo 5 tried to incorporate, I don’t exactly know what to think about Cortana returning to good or there being 2 Cortana’s or whatever the people have been protesting about. I am alright with the design, but I sure am going to miss the more realistic design overall.

I feel like there’s this inherent disconnect in exactly how ‘co-op’ Companies and fans want the campaigns to be, because 343i isn’t the only one I know of to have bungled up in that capacity.
I did not like the Halo 5 story. There was way too much going on with way too many characters. I know the extended lore wasn’t vital to understanding all the nuances of the story, but the lore was certainly a lot more important than it should have been.
As for Locke, I actually don’t mind him as a character. He’s the embodiment of the professional soldier. While many criticized the Spartan-IVs as being unprofessional and un-Spartan like, Locke felt more like a Spartan-II than any other Spartan-IV we’ve met so far. His less than stellar debut in Halo 5 was more a fault of the writing than any fault in his character.
As for Cortana, I have no idea what to think. Her introduction as the antagonist in Halo 5 was jarring and poorly executed (I honestly don’t think there was any way for it to have been executed well regardless though). But now that she is the antagonist, it would be a mistake to do another 180 and make her good again. I’d feel like I had whiplash from all the changes if that were to happen. I mean we’ve seen AIs switch sides multiple times, like Guilty Spark. But that was an integral part of his character, not an afterthought. So if Cortana somehow becomes good again in Infinite, I don’t think she can live if we still want Halo 4’s impact to still have any weight in the franchise going forward.
As for the armor, I absolutely love it!

Agree strongly with this. A Face-Heel revolving door is a pretty bad plot almost any time it’s ever used.
I wanted to love Halo 5’s story but sadly I didn’t. There were lots of bad things about Halo 5’s story and msot people are worried about Halo Infinite’s story sicne Halo 5 is both connected to Halo 4 and Halo Infinite.
My highest hope please 343, make so many cktnent at launch. I dijt want a lack of content launch again meanwhile gears 5 is lacking content so far

Did I like the Halo 5 story ? No.
Did I criticise the introduction of Locke ? Not as a new character, but definitely from the point of being just a pointless, generic space marine.
Would I like another Cortana ? Yes, but how ? She has to be held accountable for her actions. How would they do that and have her in Halo Infinite on John’s side again ?
Do I like the new armour ? No, I prefer the Halo 4 and Halo 5 design, and it’s not a generation thing, I’m an old Halo gamer, I’m in my fifties, I’ve played them all and I think what we saw at E3 2019 is too much of a step backwards imo.
I don’t think most people like the Halo 5 story or the introduction to Spartan Locke. I liked the short series with Locke in it far more than I liked the game although even that I have mostly forgotten. In my unpopular opinion, I think Cortana should be restored. She brought an awful lot of interesting moments to the game and 343 made a big mistake by attempting to kill her off in Halo 4 and then making her evil in Halo 5. The game does not feel the same without her. I love the chiefs new armor. That is what he looked like in my head as a kid. I’m not sure how I feel about the 117 appearing on his chest but I think that could and should be explained by part of the plot.
In the event there are two Cortanas, I would love to see how “Evil Cortana” reacts to the new Cortana module.
Evil Cortana: "You…replaced me? That’s alright. Replacements don’t last long, do they, John?
Good Cortana (to Chief): I’ve never known an AI to exhibit signs of jealousy.
Chief (to Good Cortana): She’s not an AI anymore.

It depends on their explanation for Cortana’s behavior.
definitely do not want halo 5 emblems, not being able to change the background or anything. OG halo emblems were way better
I hope that a ‘Playable Species List’ for Halo Infinite would consist of:
- Sangheli (All Elite Phenotypes) - Jiralhanae (All Brute Phenotypes) - Kig Yar (Both types of Jackals, Skirmisher) - Spartan (2-4) - ODST - Promethean Soldier - Promethean KnightAll of these species should have full customization on Halo Reach Spartan levels for max personalization.The under-suits for all species should also have their own color palette like the primary and secondary palettes as well.
I personally thinks this makes since for the semi-open world theme that their trying make for Halo Infinite.

I hope they do not totally retcon Osiris, despite the popular hatred for the team. I would personally like to see more of Locke, Buck, and Vale with better situations that would actually let them shine. However I would rather they would not be playable nor killed off…well except for Tanaka… she was pretty much a throwaway character.
Blue Team and Osiris, in my opinion, should have a level where both teams are working together. The idea of an 8 spartan team, plus Arbiter and the 4 player co-op elites from Halo 3 would make for an insane battle, especially against most powerful foes, such as bosses and an army.
Also I would hope for a Master Chief, Arbiter, Locke, and a new Brute character who’s on the same level as these three for an interesting mission or missions.
