My Xbox Series X keeps shutting down by itself while playing Halo Infinite. It only happens with this game.

Kept happening to me. Started off with once or twice per week and only whilst playing campaign…then happened 5 times in the space of a few hours playing MP and campaign…and then every time
I tried to play the game after about half hour. I’d only had the console for less than 2 months so sent it back for a full refund. I’d recommend trying to get a refund from where you bought it or claim replacement via Microsoft if still under warrantee.

Have exactly the same issue and haven’t found a workaround yet. My friends who have a Series X don’t have this issue no glad I’m not alone. I’m convinced it’s not the Xbox as it works perfectly on other games but on Infinite it just crashes randomly every single time.

I would say that’s why I switched to PC while I was constantly playing MCC but infinite crashes on pc too.

The way I look at it is that if it was a Halo Infinite issue then this forum and other media outlets would be full of complaints about XSX owners having their consoles bricked by the game…but it’s not. This is either a software or hardware failure with the console.
I have an XSX, just a couple times has crashed with HI, this was during the first week of released
